Echoing the disappointment regarding Control 2.



Control was one of my favorite games of the past decade and to see the sequel be so... how it is is really upsetting. Even if they have Jesse as a dual protagonist (which wouldn't surprise me, given Alan Wake has that and dual protags seem to be all the rage these days with RE9 too) it doesn't wash the bad taste out of my mouth.



Maybe for Control 3 they'll right the ship.

I'm sure you all know what I mean. The constant barrage of incredibly evil, powerful people continuing making our lives worse. It always felt that way but wow it's really ramped up lately for obvious reasons. And it's gotten to the point it's really fucking with me mentally... Especially Trump and AI.

How do you deal with it all without going crazy? Asking for a friend. And also myself.

Lara croft's new design feels like the perfect compromise between the two divided camps. She has a very pretty face that looks very realistic, but her boobs aren't big, and her ass is kinda flat, so her body type should be a lot less likely to be seen as "oversexualized"

Yassified Lara face sucks, everything else looks cool AF.

All respect to the artists but the face looks like she just got out of getting a full face lift and full face botox. Incredibly sad with how forward thinking her design was in the Survivor saga. I can't believe the tweet of a Yassified Lara is real. Will keep playing the survivor saga and watching the Netflix show which I think are much better versions of Lara visually speaking.

It's not even about the face but about her whole design and animation. The waist and the hip ratio (can't believe I just said that ugh), the clean nails, the exaggerated face light plus the cleanliness around her face with the dirt only being a bit on some cheeks and around her hair, the incredibly heavy makeup, the way her lips move along with her cheeks, the absolute perfect nose and already done eyebrows, no hair at all on her skin.. it's all a bit too much.

And yet, the typical screeching vocal minority still unhappy. Incels and femcels so brainrotted by their left-wing culture war that they think having a redesigned character that's still attractive means that they "yassified her" or are "pandering to the chuds"

The US and Houthis are both breaking international law.

Except application of international law isn't consistent for our allies. Israel is breaking international law by blocking aid into Gaza on top of the active genocide. The US doesn't do anything besides symbolically wave its finger. If the US actually was consistent with addressing violations of international law, Yemen wouldn't need to enact its own blockade.

This is the main issue, liberals are totally ok with international law being used to intervene, if it serves as opposition to the "enemy".
