I will never understand this idea that everything has to be religious.

Like not everyone cares about religion.

Captain America: Brave New World had the odds stacked against it this weekend. The movie's reviews have not been great and a B- CinemaScore (the lowest for any MCU movie) suggested it wouldn't have positive word of mouth on its side.

However, Deadline brings some good news today as The Falcon and The Winter Soldier follow-up is now on course for a $28.1 million second weekend. That's a drop of -68% from its Presidents' Day weekend debut and a big improvement over Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania  (-70%) and The Marvels (-78%).

Nothing to see here
It's fine:

But if we're talking about how we treat women, the trans issue is a lot like religion. In some countries that are strict Muslim countries, women are treated way different than liberal Western ones. So when it comes to treating women how do we treat them because it's not universal. It's not biology determining this, it's more social interaction like religion.

At the end of the day, you still gotta treat people like people, no?

Speaking of religion, that's how this Marvel talk come off as. Era can't have their dogma challenged, even by facts($$$).

Yes, but by whose standards though? I don't think anyone here is arguing not to treat trans people like people. It's just what exceptions we give them. Do we give them full "rights" as women or not

Breh, you're the one calling people hateful for not subscribing to supernatural essences and performance rituals over material and scientific reality.

It's not remotely respectful or treating anyone like a person to demand they lie all the time. That's not even touching on how mandatory misogyny can be respectful to women or demanding the erasure of homosexuality can respectful to gays. Let alone the other harms and victims you're denying exist by trivializing what's being required by force of everyone to the "basic human decency" meme.

I’m 100% unconvinced that there’s any reason to accommodate trans stuff beyond I hope you feel better about yourself.

I will call you hateful and ignorant and everything else under the sun when you want to call transgressed people not what they are.

Trans people are not lieing.

I find pictures of prolapsed anuses gross. If Benji allowed pictures of that on this site I wouldn't be here. That doesn't mean I hate people with prolaped anuses though. And I might even make fun of people with prolaped anuses but not to their face.
Alright, since you made clear that your complaint is actually about the existence of this forum the fact that you don't want any discussion is more clear than it already was.
My complaint isn't about this forum. I actually like the fact this forum exists. But go ahead.

I like how people mention the guy hunter as if they're different. No, it's a guy that was able to pull off looking like a woman to the naked eye. But, still a dude. I'm happy that they prob feel comfortable going into a girl bathroom due to that. But, still a dude.

Tbh, the (recent?) babble online from these losers stating 'we are technically biologically women' and the concept of 'we can be lesbians' really broke the ideology. Just insanity, throwing all their lunatic shit at the wall. How can you respect that kind of rhetoric?

My man, you just said it was all gross, so your bait will have to entice others instead.

If the likes of Shreds want to prove to everyone they are lesbians. All they have to do is get into a lesbian night at their local club and survive.

Pretty sure you can drop a hard-R on era too...It's funny that The Coli has more restrictive profanity rules (unless every poster over there is uniformly self-editing to "fukk" and "shyt").

word filters exist to minimise accidental and / or unintentional offence - for example, if one culture finds a word offensive that another culture doesn't, then just add it to the word filter and you don't have to worry about cross cultural taboos, because someone using a filtered word either in the heat of an argument or just unintentional ignorance of it being banned will just go "oh, okay, thats filtered, suppose I'll just avoid using that in future as I guess someone finds that offensive".

Someone actively trying to be offensive won't care, and can actively bypass filters in any one of the many of the time honoured and battle tested forum methods, and take their chance with getting clipped by a moderator for intentional rule breaking.

the reasons a sane moderation team might not want to use such an obvious, automated, low impact form of moderation to keep conversations ticking over without having to come in dick swinging with AN OFFICIAL MODERATOR RESPONSE ABOUT UNACCEPTABLE LANGUAGE, swinging the ban hammer, and completely derailing whatever conversation was happening in order to literally tone police are:
  • Era mods fucking LOVE to jump into a thread and derail it with BANS over minor infractions to show what MASSIVE MODERATOR DICK they have, ESPECIALLY if they get to demonstrate what a huge fucking ally they are because did everyone see me ban that fucking guy using a word that isn't widely known to be banworthy because I am such a huge fucking ally, nobody works harder than me to help the people oppressed by that word?
  • Their retarded userbase are going to keep demanding all kinds of other shit gets word filtered to appease their own personal grievances; filtering 'cunt' on a videogame forum is fairly uncontroversial (sorry Scunthorpe inhabitants), banning "Cyberpunk" or "Harry Potter" less so.
