Literally I don't know what it's like now but back in the 2000s the real noticeable teachers you would dread were men.

They were either authoritarian bully's or would just creep on the girls.
I remember one teacher we had would never teach us and instead just yell at us all lesson or make us copy from the text book. We were an ap class.

I remember the PE teacher saying super creepy things about the other student lady teacher who was just out of university.even at 15 I was like wtf.

Then I remember the teacher who made us march in the playground instead of teaching us maths while he said we were worthless. That year nearly failed maths but I could walk in line! I think he got fired for hitting a kid.

Yeah sure I had some bad teachers who were women but atleast they were not borderline criminals or enjoyed bullying 14 year olds.
Now I am not saying I was even a good student to teach I actually failed school but as a bad student I felt that some of the guy teachers didn't even want to teach us but just go on powertrips.

I remember when this thing launched. It was like 10 bucks for a box. A regular box, not a jumbo box either. They were all over podcasts in their ads. I got one flavor just to experiment and I didn't really like the taste. Most had some weird chalky aftertaste.

However, now regular cereals getting their price range lol. If I just have a hankering for sugary cereals I just get the "real" stuff.

I'm seriously about ready to put my tin foil hat on and say this guy is an AI. It's exactly what an AI would do. This is why I found Yuri on Ice to be such a frustrating watch. The queer themes are undeniable BUT the series never outright states that the characters are queer, it's always danced around in some way. There's this layer of ambiguity that's completely absent from any of the straight characters, who are allowed to just have relationships with one another without any subtext necessary. Like this was a show where two men kissed but out of frame and angled in JUST a way where you could maybe interpret it as just a hug. Which again, not something any of the straight pairings in the show had to work around. Maybe I'd be less annoyed about this still if explicit queer representation had made more progress in the 8 years since, but we're still in the baby steps phase.

So in effect, Dubs is helpless because of his own guilt, and he doesn't have the guts to realize the horror show of hypocrisy he's built. Anecdotal, but in my small town type area, we got a metric fuckton of Sikh Indians all of a sudden.

The mods at Reee are not serious people 3 months for pointing out what people who live here can see with their own eyes?

I live in Vancouver and it’s the same here. After covid suddenly all the staff at a lot of the shops downtown were Indian, and not Canadian born Indians but overseas ’students’ at dodgy colleges with BS courses.

It's incredibly lopsided and is creating enclaves where everyone is indian, I went to Walmart the other day and every single staff member was Indian like how is that possible? its a farce. Tim Hortons only seems to hire Indian people. 

Then you have people paying for jobs so they can get their Permanent residence for fast food jobs. Usually through Indian ‘consultants’ who are pocketing a lot of money. 

I moved to Canada 9 years ago and it felt balanced racially, these days not so much. I feel sorry for the Indians who will face the backlash of this. Canada does needs immigration, but if its majority from one country and most will be working in very low paid jobs how is that going to work?

Most people will whisper it but it’s very anti Indian here now. And when people can't find job or affordable housing things will get dicey.

Late, but I went on a road trip in Western Canada this fall and the only place I stopped at that didn't have a clearly new immigrant Indian staff serving me was Boston Pizza and a family owned sit down restaurant.

Stopped at a couple gas stations in tiny rural prairie towns that are 99% white and they had early 20s Indian staff. It's bizarre.
