I really wanted to have a predictions topic on what we expect to see in the next big trailer.

I don’t know if it’ll be in THIS trailer, but the one thing I am one thousand percent more certain of than anything else is a scene of Costa De Sol, followed by a shot of Tifa and Aerith in beachwear.

Righting the decades-long wrong of the original game and also making sure the employees at Square Enix all get a big bonus when they sell new figures of said characters in beachwear.

But I’m also hoping it isn’t just the ladies and we get Cloud and Barret rocking some beach clothes as well.

I either didn’t gel with them as a community, I said one or two more annoying things, maybe a combination of stuff. One nice fellow from the group told me not to take it personally, move on, whatever. They’re right.

Except I still hate when this happens and I do take it personally, Not in a vindictive way, but in a self-reflective “What did I do wrong?” way. Way back in the early 2000s I got banned from a forum that I honestly thought I was fitting in well with, until it turned out that a lot of the members despised me for whatever reason, and the resentment was building up. It happened again a couple more times in other forums, and I end up in that same state of self-reflecting and depression. Even here, where I like to think I’ve cemented at least a tolerable online presence, I ended up being banned for a month over a comment I made, and it once again brings me back to wondering how to balance my traits of loneliness and fanboyism?

Or maybe I shouldn’t care at all? I’m curious how people here handle it, if it’s happened. I know it’s literally impossible to get along with everyone on the internet, but when it’s a small community based on a shared interest, that tends to hurt a lot more.

As a non-american adult and a somewhat ashamed weeb, I have never actually understood the need for sexual gratification in my videogames or indeed the compulsion to popularise it regardless of whether you're straight or not.
