The Xbox fanboys are wanting a Starfield review thread that's just review scores and no discussion because they're scared of console war trolls 

It don't think it will hold up anyway. People point at Nintendo not showing TOTK until the last moment before release but Microsoft isn't like that.
If they had a GOTY contender they would be shouting it from the rooftops.

At the same time reviewers aren't dropping cryptic messages that the game is better/worse than expected either.
So in the end I suspect that Starfield will be a solid 8 - 9/10 at launch but it'll need a bunch of patches and DLC to reach its full potential.

So it’s a really nice day outside here (in southern Tennessee), and normally I would say yeah, I wanna be at the pool or doing something outside… but honestly I just don’t feel like it. I wanna stay in and watch movies and play Baldur’s Gate 3. However, I feel this intense guilt for not spending time outdoors, when it’s this nice. Like the day will be wasted. I’m not sure if anyone thinks this way.

The big downside is it’s 90 degrees and humid as fuck of course. If it was like 70, I would be more inclined to spend time outside. But I know in other regions it’s way milder during summer. In the south it’s just humid and hot as hell. Plus, we can’t take our dog anywhere in this weather.

Is it dystopian to want some sort of social credit score or some shit for online interactions? There needs to be some sort of system in place to incitivize people to be decent to one another online, and be respectful in what they say to one another. Actually, I wanted to double check. It did about the same as Venom 2, which made almost exactly as much as Venom 1 pre-COVID. Maybe it wouldn’t have done well regardless.

I picked She Hulk. But that was mainly because She Hulk was the final nail in the coffin for me. I kinda moved on from the MCU after that, so I’m sad to see that Phase 4 only got worse.

And that's wild since She-Hulk is terrific and one of the best things in the MCU.

She-hulk has the worst ending of alllllll the crap released this phase, though. Like insultingly bad. The rest of it is fine to good, with stuff like the DD episodes being standouts among the whole phase, imo.

Still, i’d argue the ending alone earns it a place in the poll over something like moon knight or hawkeye or ms marvel. The worst crimes the rest of the phase commited were simply being mediocre.

The ending is actually one of the best single moments in the entire MCU though. It's brilliant.

My psychiatrist freaked out and basically forced a therapist on me at my last appointment, so my first session is in a few weeks. I don't know how many I'll be able to get in. I'm on my wife's insurance and once everything goes through, that's done, and I have to figure out how to keep taking the daily meds I'm on as well. I'm also basically being forced to move across the country and back in with my mom (at least temporarily) because I don't make enough to live on my own, let alone in a place big enough to house my two kids on a biweekly basis or whatever. This means for the moment I'm going to see them during holidays and summer vacation until I can get a job and new place back in rural-ass NC (where I'm originally from and where my only support system exists).

Life is a living hell. I fucking hate myself and feel like a damn fool. I was too stupid and blind to see or comprehend warning signs and now my entire life is in shambles. Sometimes I see a light at the end of the tunnel, but I'm mostly trying not to spiral.

For some reason, I haven't been able to successfully DM a few of you, keep getting an error. I just want to thank you all for the support you've shown in here. I apologize for continuing to bump this thread; sometimes I just need to vent and I don't have many places to do it.
