It should probably be noted that six of Elon's kids were with his first wife (one set of twins, one set of triplets), and Grimes was apparently under the impression they were going to marry which is another three. Another three are to the same executive in his companies and all were born after he broke up with Grimes, which I think suggests a relationship of some kind.

This new woman, if true, is more of an outlier.

I don't mean that people support Trump largely, I mean that any specific issue requires them to care enough to protest and all the probable issues are nothing anyone cares about to animate them into the streets, which would mean a generic protest against Trump which... uh... we just had an election, so you'd be protesting the result? Which you already did sorta? And a bunch of people did in 2017 and the 2018 midterms mattered way more?

Trans rights? ICE? Dropping bureaucrats out of helichoppers? These are all incredibly niche issues that don't effect very many people or else American policy would already be different on them. The rest of the stuff they're outraged about are all normal things in politics that nobody could explain why this time is so much worse they need to get in the streets about. That's not counting how many of these things are untrue but they think are not just true and happening but deliberate, they literally don't remember that just a couple weeks ago they were arguing that Medicaid getting temporarily fucked up was ALL PART OF THE PLAN to slaughter anyone with a medical problem in the country. If you're not going to get into the streets over deliberately murdering tens of millions of people, and it got "reversed" without that, then why would you over the rest of this shit?

Their brains are permanently wired to seek out what I call "victim pleasure". Right now is a real bad time for people like that. There's nothing they can really frame in a way that makes them seem like constantly suffering and dying victims.

So the end result is that they sound like robots on repeat, trying to fulfill their prime directive with no fuel. "Must protest! Genocide! Protest! Genocide!"

But for standard popcorn munching affairs, it’ll do and there’s definitely been worse. It feels like the whole situation was still impacted by COVID and October 7th attacks plus a production that was spun up way quicker than it should have been. I see Armor Wars being walked back as a sign that they have already learned from this film’s production, but who knows! I rate it in the 70s; it’s definitely not the worst film of all time like some people are making it out to be.

In fact I would argue that at this point and for quite some time already ties between China and Europe have been stronger on all levels than ties between Europe and the United States. It took a small dent during COVID but it is now business as usual again. Every business worth their salt in the Netherlands has a contact or affiliate in China. I was in corporate meetings where folks discussed how to deal with US sanctions on China and Russia, simple, route it through India and it's not even expensive.

It is more likely that we're on a fast track to a federal European state with a European army that might also include Ukraine with Macron as the first President of Europe and Meloni as the first Vice President to oversee this transition until elections can be held in 4 to 5 years time.

The rift between the US/EU has existed between the Iraq war and truely never healed. Obama made it worse by blowing up the Middle East and Libya, Trump made it worse by being Trump and Biden made it worse by the Afghanistan withdrawal and poor handling the Ukraine war (which he admitted was the result of Obama messing up the Crimea crisis). At the same time the Europeans ruled out helping the Americans with Taiwan. 

The current situation is ridiculous, Vance scolding the EU for woke policies and migration policies the Biden administration told them to implement and the climate shit courtesy of Al Gore. 

Putins puppets in Europe are not the Afd but the SPD, from Gerard Schroder to Olaf Scholz. Always has been and always will be. Remember it was Scholz who told Zelensky not to fight but to flee and even refused passage for US and British cargo planes just before the war broke out.

Merz will easily win the German election though, German pensioners aren't going to vote for a Lesbian who is friends with Elon Musk. With Germany back on its feet economically and ending the self immolation things will change fast.
