Booshka is the only one (left since SocialistERA was purged for revisionism) I believe actually really means it when he says "State capitalism" describes China and could explain it coherently to my inquiries. So, I wanted to submit a mitigated review for this cushion:

Notice the ".ca", that's important. I live in Canada and for day to day stuff, I order on the Canadian website.

So, a little over an hour ago, I receive this email saying they couldn't publish my review because "it does not meet the community guidelines".
Now, if you have checked the product above, it's a cushion specifically made for coccyx pain etc. and I chose this cushion because it was larger than the others (because I have a huge butt and a large chair to cover).

Anyway, in the email, it says "you can edit your comment". Clicking said button gives me AN EMPTY REVIEW FORM (tested on two browsers: Firefox and Edge). So, all that I have left from my review is a snippet included in the email.

So, I tried finding any way to voice my frustration at Amazon and, after a while I'm finally able to talk to somebody in a chat. After a few lines explaining my case, they tell me that I'll need to talk on the phone. Since I'm not super great with my spoken English, I asked for French CS. The Chat CS said "sure, we have a French team".

Get the call, blablabla recorded call blablabla... all that was in English. I get somebody, which of course, speaks English. I told the person on the other side that I wanted to talk to somebody in French. They transfer me. After some inputs, I'm talking to a person in French. Explain my grievances and they want to acess my account. Have a great time spelling my email address (/s) then asked for my shipping address which I give. They say they can't find it. What? I reluctantly give another and they get in. There's no orders. What? My .ca account dates from 2008! And the cushion was ordered on July 28 and have the order# as well. I found out that I was transferred to AMAZON FRANCE. Of course they couldn't find my address, they were trying to enter a Canadian address as a French address.

I fucking hate that. No company takes French in Canada seriously. There's a province wher 70%+ of its population that speaks French aka Québec. Most translations we get were made for France first. Then this shit happens way more than you think it does. Then send me an email with links and the Canadian one just links me to the one I had huge trouble getting chatting to begin with......

Now, I don't get to complain to anybody because they transferred me in FRANCE like if everybody that speaks French lives in France.
They f'ing deleted my review for an absurd reason and send me an email saying I can edit it. But you can't edit a review that has been outright deleted and you need to start almost over!

tl;dr:
Amazon send email of rejected review, email mention editing but form is empty. Try to complain to them on chat, was asked to talk on phone, got sent to English speaker despite asking for French, get transferred to a French rep and found out that I was in Amazon France instead of Canada so they can't do jack. So, now, I'm frustrated that I lost both time in writing a review they deleted and disguised it as editable but also lost time trying to complain.

Has anyone on The Bore actually played Persona 5?

Because, while Persona 4 had a couple of missteps, Persona 5 is literally one of the most progressive games in the entire franchise, starting with Yusuke, the art-obsessed dude, who, to me at least, is intended by Atlus to clearly comes across as asexual and doesn't appear to have any romantic interest in either men or women.

Era also conveniently ALWAYS ignores Lala, the cross-dresser who manages the Crossroads bar in Shinjuku, who is one of the most well-written characters in the entire game and who constantly looks out for both the player and the alcoholic reporter chick:



Yet all they ever focus on are two short cutscenes, lasting a couple of minutes, in a 140 hour+ game, where 2 dudes hit on Ryuji.



People here may have their own opinions on those scenes (which Atlas censored later in P5R), but my own interpretations are:

1: The scenes were far more to show what a dumbass Ryuji is. Throughout the entire game he is shown to be a very likeable but clearly dimwitted guy. Almost every encounter he has with other NPC's are comedic, especially Morgana.

2: Go into any major city in the world, London, New York, Tokyo, Sydney, Amsterdam, and you'll get people of all kinds hitting on you everywhere, including gay guys, especially if the city is known to be liberal and easy-going.

Somehow Era, Kotaku and other garbage websites managed to twist a couple of lines into a 'Atlus is homophobic' manufactured controversy.

He's kind of half right, half wrong. Amazon CS are mostly in India. Your average Indian isn't going to know shit about Quebec. So if he didn't tell Indian guy he wanted a transfer to counterfeit frog they would obviously transfer him to real frog.
