Not from Canada, but yeah, I went to the US last year (I was on the plane when news broke that Biden would not seek reelection) and I'm definitely not planning on going back this year or even next. I don't wanna visit the country in the state it currently is in.

Would it be a bad idea to close off the Canda and Mexico borders locking America from those areas along with taxes?

Not Canadian, but I travel enough from the UK to the US that Global Entry was well worth setting up.

No more. I had three US trips planned to meet friends, but I'll be meeting them in Europe instead. I wont be back to the US in the next four years unless my job literally depends on it.

Good stuff. I also won't be spending travel money in my own country. (Not that I was before). If I can, I'll keep traveling internationally and for once, as a non white, hopefully I can avoid being identified as American.

Just came back from a Disney trip we couldn't cancel. You can be sure I'm not going back to the USA until at least 4 years.

I think a lot of this sticks too. I think once these people go to new warm places they won't be going back to places like Florida. These are yearly travelers they go for weather not Disney. Many are trying to sell property there too because you can't insure anything.

For those that do still go I bet they have negative interactions and then they stop going. Americans can't help themselves and Canadian tourists will get 51st state jokes and jabs I guarantee it.

This is me, unfortunately. Got a trip coming up in 2 weeks that would really fuck me over if I cancel it (though I still considered it heavily and I'm bitter about it). But yeah definitely the last in a long time.
