Couldn’t tell you the guys name but there was a gaf user who questioned his sexuality. Went to his coworker’s house, blew him, asked for a napkin, and thanked him for the hospitality. Think he concluded that he’s straight.

Also some guy wanted to eat a Zelda 3DS cart.

Bear with my random typos and whatnot, keep in mind some of these film titles are localized from their non-english originals, and that some of them never released in North America so the years may not exactly align.

a few observations:

Unless you live in New York or Los Angeles or have access to film festivals, chances are you simply aren't ever going to get the opportunity to see even half of the highly-acclaimed pictures that come out in Q1 of any given year. That's just how film distribution works. Larger distributors aren't currently prone to releasing their critical darlings in the first three months of the year and the mid to smaller distributors often go with a platform release strategy: Release small then if it picks up critical and financial momentum, expand to hundreds if not thousands of screens later (see EEAAO). Sometimes, a small release stays very, very small; The financial incentive to go wide even in weak Box Office periods isn't enough to make that happen.

"no data" in these tables means literally that. Either the distributor never released them, the picture released straight to streaming, or they were international/film festival releases only. This doesn't mean nobody got to see them, but that's why I opened up with 'theatrical access to this is hard'

I stopped at 2022 as I don't want to compare The Now to The Before Times (and I don't want to be digging for literal hours), the box office is still very much in recovery mode, and 'the whole calendar is viable' from the record breaking 2008-2019 streak is basically over for the time being. We have to again get used to the idea that Jan-March are going to be relatively barren and smaller or genre releases are going to rule the day and those aren't calibrated by and large to be big awards winners. The ones that do come out that you have heard of and are playing near you turn out to be the rare exception.

Finally, there's some incompleteness in the above wrt previous holiday holdovers, which can often make a January or February feel much stronger than it actually is. Awards seasons can really clog up the first two months of theaters so your feelings about those offerings can strongly color your feelings about that calendar year, so your conclusions about '2025 movies' can hinge on exactly this.

So sure, Q1 2025 probably feels pretty dry. But it's not some extreme outlier.

Yep, and it’ll be another Shocked Pikachu self-own when it stokes the right-wing parties who want to leave the ECHR even more than they currently are.

This is one of those things where they lose me and probably most of the public too. Like it almost amounts to document forgery to me. Some weird way of claiming that they were never a biological man but at the same time still demanding trans healthcare
You regularly see them on social media arguing "my documents say I'm female" as a counter to TERFs. Of course, when Trump or somebody orders that documents can't be changed they chant "the government can't decide people's sexes!"
Just hope they don’t salt the earth in their wake. I’m counting on Dolezalism taking off.

How many more L’s can they take?

Shouldn't all that be confined to one topic? Or do they think the number of topics they make will make the greater era eventually care?

I don't think they were actually that many trans footballers in UK leagues though.
uhm chuddie? it all can't go into the rowling thread. They need to first post it there and then publicly for awareness.

It's a bad day for sport. If we can't play on the women's teams they'll just go back to being shit at football again. Thanks TERF Bitch
Transracialism at least makes some sense since all of humanity emerged from Africa very recently in the grand scheme of things.

On that basis, scientifically, transracialism makes more sense than transgenderism.
