I don't know if anyone is following diablo IV's ad campaign but its pretty fucking gross considering the blizzard/activision allegations and how they treat woman. Woman dying or getting hurt is the emotional crutch A/B games relies on, its become a running joke in my family.

So the first ad is mimicking the ad for the movie Barbie, which is like yeah, show me your fetish shit, but at least Barbie is by women for WOMEN.
The second foot is Lilith from Diablo IV, like naw you don't get to post shit like this with your treatment of women.

It's super depressing. I work for a government organisation in the UK and we now have an anti-trans network as part of our social media where people recommend Matt Walsh videos and idolise Kathleen Stock and JK Rowling.

This is approved by the UK government and I got a warning for defending a trans employee (who wrote a post about how it was affecting her) because I called the group transphobic.

I fucking despise my country.

Hey, let's talk about how your government organization has an internal social media that you all waste time on. I presume this taxpayer-provided entertainment system is exempt from being requested by the UK-FOIA equivalent, privileged communications blah blah blah, proles shouldn't be allowed to see what their masters are saying, etc.

Between horny Activision Blizzard and horny Capcom it feels like everything is regressing. I'm afraid more devs might follow their lead if they succeed.

Like this is a blatant attempt at them at promoting sales for their platform by taking advantage of the community, but at the same time refusing to acknowledge it in any way and just blatantly calling them “Hidden Gems”, which in no way they are considering the popularity of some of the games there.

This stuff is cyclical. For a bunch of college educated people they seem really ignorant about how much of this stuff goes back and forth, thinking that progress is a straight line. Not even people are “straight lines”.

They mook the idea of millennials changing political beliefs but how many of RE were actually shitposters and edgelords before tumblr and Twitter shamed everyone to compliance, and how many banned from RE go back to Gaf to suck EviLore’s balls.
