Haha, but seriously though, I think that in some aspects, the Black Mirror episode 'Striking Vipers' did a great job in highlighting some aspects of male loneliness, hyper-sexualisation of entertainment and what it does to someone who consumes an unhealthy amount of it, plus a lack of therapy for people who clearly need it, all of whom are looking for escapism that they then internalise and eventually want to project outwards as their new reality (usually to poor effect/bad consequences).
