In this thread someone doesn't know USA geography. If there's a rally in Belgrade the longest drive to the Capitol from anywhere in Serbia is 7 hr drive.

If I had to drive to the USA capital from LA it's a 35 hr drive or you buy a plane ticket and deal with all that. So it's easier to get everyone all together at the same time in the same place. Especially when it's spontaneous.

It not my fault everyone else lives in little tiny counties.

I will say americans ARE less active, because we don't GAF and don't believe our country will truly fall into genuine dictatorship and facism. Also like HaughtyFrank pointed out, I think we're just exhausted by all the performative righteous anger over the past 5 years. 

Like, there are buncha people across threads on this topic who are like "but there ARE demonstrations in the US if you even bothered to look!"...and then you google it and it's 6 bored people loosely loitering in front of the post office in Boise for an hour, 3 saturdays ago.

Persona 5 has a sick ass battle system and 200 hours of pokemon, but in truth the story stuff sucks, it's like a shit version of death note.

Persona 4 does have a lot of weird hokey-cokey in out in out transgressive stuff going on that's awkward to sit through

Metaphor also ultimately had a fairly hum-drum story despite the awesome setting.

Its at that point where I am more and more losing enjoyment in Era. Console wars, trolling, all that sort of stuff I find pretty funny and peoples bad/differing opinions about things just always bounced off me. But this is just.... I don't know. So much of Era is just ignoring and not acknowledging of it and it is making me more and more disgruntled. Ive always been pretty open minded about this sort of thing, people need to find enjoyment in what they can, and it is up to them to what line they decide to cross, or not. But this just feels more than that, profiting of genocide is so extreme, its like... how can people ignore that? I think playing games is one thing, if you have thousands of dollars invested in the ecosystem and you cant afford to go elsewhere, sure I get it. But what really gets me is when hype threads are created, or people act surprised when others are angry at xbox, etc etc.

I don't know, it is probably on me that I used to think that Era was for the most part good people. I used to post a lot in the xbox OT, there are a lot of people I used to banter and argue with in there. But now, just thinking of posting in there just sickens me. And I stay out of those hype threads, I dont want to ruin gaming for other people. But it is hard, because I don't stay quiet when I have an issue with something, I confront it, I'm not the type of person to just let something simmer. So eventually, I am 100% going to go off and will mostly lead to getting banned haha.

Anyway, none of this is the fault of the mods. They are in a hard situation really. I just wish people had more empathy. Or something. Thats my rant for the day.

I think I could understand it more if Xbox was the industry but they aren't. There's alternatives to continue enjoying your hobby like Sony, Nintendo, Valve, Google, Apple and the large and forever expanding world of emulation.

I know those companies aren't exactly squeaky clean either. But right now, they're a vastly lesser evil.
