It's pointless to even try and explain the in's and out's of the military with those that have never served. Most have their mind made up that we just signed up because we love guns or wanted to kill people. I swear coming home from a deployment just to be berated by civilians at the air port had to be one of the lowest points of my time in CSAR.

I remember that earlier there was a serious conversation about body image issues involving a mod and how important it was for everyone to feel respected, but what is the point in coveting international users and celebrating their differences when something as simple as "You see in my country it's against the law to make jokes about the extermination of groups who have been fighting for their lives".

Everyone's journey in the military is different, I was helping save people in an operating room, others join to translate languages in order to anticipate attacks, others literally have a job making sure the food on base isn't expired. it's not this EVERYONE WHO JOINS IS A KILLER AND COMPLACENT narrative you are trying to spin.

I was approached by ICE when I was leaving the military, they tried to recruit me thinking I would be cool with - as he put it " getting payed to playing tag." That made me want to punch him in the face, literally calling border patrol "playing tag." Just dehumanizing people trying to get into this country. ICE is an extension of Trump's deranged plan to show how "stwong" he is and further his authoritarian agenda. The law enforcement is just beating the shit out of people because they think they are above the law because they are helping ICE. UNFORTUNATELY the military has gotten involved because the president is a fucking baby who thinks sending in troops will make him look strong.

The US military is, indeed, a terrorist organization which has ruthlessly killed millions of people across Asia and the Middle East.
