I've played guitar as a hobby of sorts since around 2018, ive been playing longer than I've been called Melody even! I play on a rather inexpensive ESP LTD since it was about the best i could afford with my limited means even then. (and thats when i could still work)
its been fun but i've had a hard time keep to it. Anyone have any advice for an up and coming trans woman heavy metal guitarist?(wannabe)

And speaking as someone who used to do music as well, sometimes you hit a stall. Sometimes you stop improving for a while. That doesn't mean you CAN'T get better, it just means you need to change your approach. Try to branch out into another style of music, rewire your neural pathways a little and then revisit the stuff you love. When I got stuck and stopped progressing as a vocalist for a while, I had to completely change the kinds of genres I was playing in and it helped me widen my range.

what if the game is hard or impossible to run on modern CPU architecture?
what if its only release requires a CD in the drive and you need to strip that out to give it a full-fledged digital release?
what if its FMVs used weird arcane codecs that are glitchy or crashy on modern computers?
what if its audio was designed for sound hardware that's hard to find and install like the Roland MT-32?
what if it was only released on consoles and not PC, or vice versa?
what if it had downloadable content or famous fan expansions that are hard to find these days?
what if it had load times irrespective of how fast your hardware is, which could be eliminated through new caching techniques?

remasters don't have to change anything other than accessibility

So pretty much a venting thread. My ass is stuck in Austin for 3 weeks for a government training. Whatever I have been having a lot of fun in Austin, the atmosphere is great and I love the night life!

What I fucking hate is this shitty ass hotel room the government provided us… We’re stuck in a Marriott in the middle of nowhere in Austin. Don’t get provided rental cars or a shuttle to the training area, so we have to Uber every morning there and back. Then I found a silverfish in my bathroom. (Not to mad about the silverfish but it compounds with what I just found today)

Had a great time at the clubs last night and I wake up today pretty damn hungover. Go and get my coffee then get back in my room. “It’s dark in here I should open some blinds and let some light in”. Open the first blind and there’s a big ass fucking roach that jumps out! Scared the fuck out of me and now I’m hungover and pissed that I gotta be here… Can’t stand bugs specially roaches which we don’t really get in Utah. Now I gotta spend two more weeks here paranoid at all time that there’s a fucking roach around!

You do if you want to write BSL, because that's what these laws is based on: what the dog breeds actually are, which requires DNA verification. I broke up with my girlfriend this week. There were multiple reasons leading to it:
- Doesn’t like my friends or family
- Doesn’t like the fact that I’m an introvert
- doesn’t like that I wasn’t ready to get engaged
- Doesn’t like being alone
- Searched my phone (and found nothing except me saying an engagement ring is a little quick )

I’m not sad about losing her but I’m sad about the lost future we could have had. Am I a psycho? I guess I'm in my 30's so it hits different. I just don’t know. I did black out with my friends earlier so maybe I am feeling it more than I think (although they said I just complained I’m not with someone I love).
