I find it striking how little she posts about anything besides trans people at this point. A few years ago she'd throw in occasional posts about projects she was on or normie lib stuff or even just daily life things. Going back a month it's been nothing but this one thing, and she continues to talk about it as if she's under siege.

Her replies on Twitter are an endless firehose of the most vile shit.

From the reviews Superman sounds as weak as the leaked plot sounded, but perfectly up the MCU fan alley who has been long immunized to such things. Series of events "plot" with rampant IT'S THIS GUY appearances and a non-entity set of nearly all characters. So I expect over the top proclamations both positive and negative from people jerking off against imagined kulturkampf enemies none of whom have any actual interest or history with the franchise or comics in general. So in other words it feels pretty much like Trek since JJ Abrams and then Discovery "saved it" and "made it relevant again" just like I'm imagining I'll be hearing about this.

Love that all the talk about All-Star Superman "inspiration" was merely Gunn poaching random shit like Snyder poaching panels. And that Hollywood will probably continue to be immune to poaching any of the coherent plots or ever digging past the canon of "CBR MUST READ" works that often aren't even that good.

I imagine Lanterns is still the thing that will make or break this DCU's early potential, but I have to admit my skepticism is activated by a film titled Superman that sprawls into so much not involving Superman at the same time that the list of things Gunn has greenlit for "Chapter One" has also continuously sprawled beyond the original things announced with things then announced possibly already on the way out.

I still think a fatal flaw of these things is that they aren't really plotted out from the start by people who know how to plot out extended arcs versus people used to doing two hour films so they're only really held together by trivia, one thing Snyder did right was know the story he wanted to tell across the (then) four films: the plot of Excalibur but with DC superheroes.

But what I think Zaslav should really think about is look at what's working for Marvel Rivals, copy a well known game and give GOONERS women to oogle. In other words, a female superhero racing stable gacha game.

You know what Benji, you are not wrong that the film is pretty Marvel esque and is superficial  All Star Superman but that scene about:
