My read on that scene was pretty different because I felt it was Superman/Clark being a prick with Lois and getting high on his own supply. As Lois said, this is basic shit that will ask anyone. He later apologizes after Luthor turns people against him. If anything, at not point the film condemns Lois, you stupid idiot.
Is so fucking stupid and shitty that person read of the scene was “Superman was totally justified in screaming to the woman he loves and talking in third person like Trump”.
Is not even they base their morality in comic book films for children but… THEY ALSO DO INTERPRET IT WRONG.
Quote:unless I'm reading the intentions wrong.

Superman needs to scream to Lois the correct political opinions. Doesn’t matter that Lois was able to take Luthor down by actually investigating his dealings with FictionalCountryInstertName, Superman needs to control that bitch from Nuance Trolling in HIS interview.

Jesus Christ. If that is what they took from that scene, then they are much more retarded than I gave them credit for.
Lois is picking holes in everything Superman stands for. All of his intentions shown to be ego-driven and very much "might is right". They are literally making fun of "Truth, Justice and the American Way" and trying to show there are grey areas, even when "people are going to die".

I love how it's the people championing a modern Madagascar Plan that call everyone else Nazis. He's right though, more Germans were ethnically cleansed from Eastern Europe than the current population of Israel, and population transfers are in again. Genocide is good when we do it.

Mind you, the film ultimately sides with Superman, and the reason doesn’t end in bad taste is because “it was Luthor all along” and scene with Rick Flagg and government guy basically saying “this may suck in the long term”.
They may also setting something with HawkGirl given that she kills the Dictator Dude, but that is shared universe cancer that people shouldn’t consider when watching the merits of a film on its own.

Or maybe the hawkgirl stuff was a leftover of when the plot was going to be Superman Vs The Elite. Supes was just going to lecture the Justice Gang about not killing Kaijus but then he is BFF with the group.
In any case, some stuff is legit messy. I enjoyed the film a lot, but oh boy is not the best Gunn superhero film, not even close.
y'all acting like this movie is good enough to talk about when there isn't even wlw with hawkgirl and supergirl.

I was devastated by Iwata's death that summer, and it has stuck with me throughout the past decade as well. I suspect that I've sometimes made mention of Iwata while arguing about Nintendo online. I rue such cases, because I believe it to be disrespectful to the life of a person who was so clearly beloved by the people around him. I did not lose Satoru Iwata, while those few people did.
I've often found myself very upset about the timing of Iwata's death: he passed away following an E3 presentation that disappointed many people, including my 15-year-old self, and I've always had a sense that he died feeling apologetic. More recently though I've realized that this feeling too is disrespectful. I instead believe that he had faith and resolve in the direction of the then-forthcoming Nintendo Switch and such initiatives as the partnership with Universal Studios.
I hope that my thoughts resonate with some people and help them to sort through their own feelings today.

Welp, historical expert Dewot, I feel the need to point out that the Holocaust wasn’t known about until *checks notes* after the Allies invaded Europe and move into Germany and its surrounding regions. Which kinda makes your whole point… pointless.
