I really enjoyed Gunn's Superman because I'm a big fan of anything Superman but the conversation around this movie is hilarious. These people got PTSD from getting bullied by Snyder fans back in the DCEU days, lol. They bring it up as much as #######GamerGateNever4get

Think a big part of it is how they celebrated Snyder stepping away from directing a superhero movie because he was grieving over losing his daughter. They can’t live that down. It said everything about their character.

Almost all the Snyder accounts are as weird and cringe as they are, they often can't even articulate why they like the Snyder films anymore than these dudes can explain why they prefer MCU/Gunn or whatever. It's hilarious that they think Daddy Cavill saying something would stop it. Snyder himself condemned some of the stuff like harassing reviewers and it didn't do anything.  

I guess this guy is saying that if like Robert Downey Jr. came out and said to vote Trump he'd listen to it.

Likewise the Snyder crazies emerged as a response to all the vitriol. And it’s upsetting to them how they’re the same type of guy. Which again, shows them who they really are. 

I can’t recall if in 2013 they were yelling for Brandon Routh and Tom Welling to comment about whatever. Maybe they’re actually weirder. Or it’s a case of escalation in embarrassing asshole fanboyism.

I don't think you understand the criticism

from a storytelling perspective, once you have crazy shit like pocket universes or hero cloning or characters who can create anything they can imagine, you have to account for that in every piece of media that builds from it in the future

This also counts for all people btw. The President of the US, is an international figure, so if you're not in the US, you're still eligible for this. He could visit the UK, India, China, whatever.

So let's say your workplace announced that Trump is coming and greeting everyone. He will make no speeches, it's more of a company tour of sorts.

Personally, and I hate Trump btw, I'd just greet the guy. I don't want to lose my job in this job market. I also don't want to be on social media or anything like that. Me making a stink doesn't change much. I'd rather do other forms of activism.

However, I do respect those that would refuse to greet or call out.

I’m quite confused what b dumbs is even talking about with regards to tickets. My most recent account was banned with the only ban reason saying “troll account (permanent)”. I wrote in a ticket asking for clarification on how I was trolling, as I had only been posting fairly earnestly nothing crazy, and I got a one sentence response 

“Nope this ban is staying permanent”. Not even an answer to the question   Is this the amazing ticket system at work?

What expectations? Cape Shit is in decline all around, the fact that made more money than when people had at least a little of hope on Snyder is pretty good. I don’t care about the shared universe shit, mind you, if anything the Snyder DCEU actually had decent films.

I try to find the silver lining to all these things. Like with Superman Returns, there are no stories of Kevin Spacey and Bryan Singer molesting teen extras on set. An anomaly. The spirit of Superman was with the production.

I think you underestimate how much comics have deal with this stuff. 

If anything, is the multiverses stuff is most difficult to accept for many and tends to feel cheaper than cloning or people coming back from the death. That’s why DC made a event just to kill it off decades ago.
