It's honestly just chilling to realize how fucking evil these organizations were (and are), especially during the 30-60s during the reign of J. Edgar Hoover.

From the FBI's (via COINTELPRO) attempts to disrupt, undermine and shut down the Civil Right movement (including wiretappings, threats, informants and the very likely assassination of Fred Hampton) as well as going after Feminist groups and worker's unions (not to mention Race mapping and investigating hundreds of celebrities because they were anti-war/socialist/Pro human rights etc).

Absolutely sickening projects like MKUltra conducted by the CIA (which we sadly will never fully know the sad fucked-up details of due to most of the documents being burned by orders of then CIA director Richard Helms to hamper the Church Committee's investigation), the atrocities such as torture conducted because of the Patriot Act, using Ratlines via Operation Paperclip to let truly evil men like Klaus Barbie to escape arrest to employee them (it depresses me that so much of early Nasa is built on research from Nazi scientists and SS officers like Kurt Debus) etc.

And that's just skimming the surface and we'll never know just how fucked up these organizations have been, what human rights violations those two organizations have committed on the US people, especially those who's only crime was wanting progress and better lives for their fellow Americans.

And it's depressing to know that the US organizations aren't unique in this, MI5 and MI6 have a ton of skeletons and we've seen countless examples both old and on-going of the UK government abusing the rights of it's citizens (fuck Starmer). It's fucking depressing just how much our Governments are against us, just how progressed is slowed and pushed back because of the rot and corruption within these powers; and so much of it just for money and petty power of a few monsters.

On one hand they want big budget movie/games that won't increase in price to buy/watch. But on the other hand they are against ways to keep rising costs controllable. Plenty of ways to cut costs in using smart ai tools.
