One of my recent threads got Rock Paper Shotgun to write an article about a 10 year old indie game that maybe only a few hundred people knew up to that point.

It's really not that far-fetched to imagine the US oligarchs are done with Trump now that the BBB has passed and the 2017 tax code changes have been extended. Like I said the other day, here's a guy whose conspiracy theory is massively narrowed by his own lack of knowledge. The oligarchs who run everything wanted a single years budget and that's it. They don't even care if a President Vance + Congress repeals both of those next year. Their powerful evil plans just needed this single bill passed for six months. What did they want from the bill? Guy doesn't even know, something about taxes probably, not that he can tell you what.

Clarification:
The people need a mechanism for removing and replacing politicians that refuse to do their jobs that doesn't require waiting 4 years and doesn't require a majority of other politicians to agree to prevent partisan gridlocking of the system.

We need some method of forcing impeachment votes that doesn't require waiting for other politicians to put forth the motions.

You don't have to wait four years, the House only serves for two. By the time you'd recall and replace your House member they'd be closing Congress for the 2026 elections.

It's funny, these guys are always whining about all the limitations to the government doing whatever it wants and here he wants some kind of ability for a minority to not only recall elected officials at any time but also to launch endless impeachment trials. Now I favor this because a government that does nothing but voting for getting rid of each other sounds like a near perfect one, but I have different priorities from these guys.

Yeah but the humor isn’t aimed at Black people at all, it’s aimed at Cartman. The joke is that he’s so self-absorbed, insensitive, and racially tone-deaf that he proudly calls himself “The Coon” without realizing (or caring?) that it’s a slur. SP is mocking Cartman’s ignorance, not endorsing the word or inviting the audience to laugh at black people.  These people say that racism and racists are in every crevice of every room everywhere, but apparently don't want them to be described in works of fiction.

Libertarianism isn't self-serving or about individualism, it's about coercion. If you believe the non-aggression principle is foolish then you believe it's morally fine to use violence against people for your own benefit. Talk about simple-minded and self-serving.

The grave dancing threads are one of those things where they don't get that it can be done with anyone famous. And that's why you shouldn't really do it for anyone but like actual murderers and stuff. If everyone is a "piece of shit person" then it loses its impact. At that point you're just being angry with others for not hating everyone.
