I agree 100%, but you shouldn’t feel like you’re being ogled since you’re likely a man, thus not an actual lesbian.

but isn't it also meaningful if you choose to do that even under those circumstances, just displaying that much trust in the face of uncertainty? not necessarily blind faith, but trust, the same kind of trust you could put into a person who makes it hard to trust them at times I'm making a similar point to the one I make regarding conspiracy theories. God has no reason to be limited by what those who speak for him are capable of imagining. Surely if God wished to be understood he could be. And if he required us to understand him to be saved (or whatever), surely it would be nonsensical for him to make this impossible. It's quite a bit of hubris to suggest that you or I can speak down to children and animals and make ourselves understood to them but a god or especially The God can't and wouldn't if it's really fucking important, especially if we're claiming to not only know God but his purpose and will.
It's not really "free will" if the game is rigged, a lot of the popular monotheistic interpretations especially in the casual sphere seem to presuppose an already determined stacked deck against most everyone. That's because they aren't really metaphysical claims you're supposed to take seriously like those Era posters or Jeff or atheists in general often do. Trying to disprove what's a metaphor is really quite missing the point of the whole thing.
I'm totally irreligious and make no place for religion, not even Islam, but this is still perfect:

Echoes ideal game series could be Arcana Heart, but he probably hates the notion that is made appeal to animu perverts (even if he is one).
Cutie fighters are pretty much the closest to lesbian fighting games that Echoes desperately wants.
today I was reminded that arcana heart existed
Arcana Heart 3 is really good. I’m not into FG, but I had a ton of fun with that game in the Vita.

Isn’t that the point, they are sacrificial lambs and The Boss knows it. The Boss is also a broken person herself. The whole point of Big Boss arc is that he is chasing a shadow of a person he didn’t fully understood.
they aren't strangers who just showed up for this one mission as expendables, they had worked together for ages, Boss and Sorrow even had a baby. Fortunately Sorrow is never characterized so we don't have to question the boss's life choices even further, he could be entirely reasonable by comparison to the rest
seriously, imagining daily life with this unit when not actively on a mission, it has to be like Archer, with the Boss constantly shaking her head as the Fear complains that the Pain's bees keep stinging him while he's trying to make his poison darts and the Fury won't stop setting off the smoke alarms which might wake up the End and he only has like a month left to live while conscious
they are not believable as real people she tolerates and works with as a leader and mother figure

I love the richness of those people telling me I shouldn't pray because God doesn't spit out cash on demand like an ATM. No one has to believe but you won't see them say something about other religions praying 5 times a day or whatever.

Vance is cynically using pray as a shield to not do anything about school shooting, thought. Jeff is too retarded and angry to not post incoherent drivel that makes JD look good.
When you oppose gun control as a policy for various reasons, it's hard to "take action" except for dealing with the aftermath. I don't think "If you pray you have to agree with leftist policies on this or else you're a hypocrite" is a convincing argument at all. You wanna argue gun control's merits, that's fine, but saying you can't pray till you agree with me is ridiculous.

The first one is great. The rest are terrible.
Nick started doing comedy shows when he couldn't get a job in acting in Australia because he was a wog.
Wogs out of Work was the first show and he followed it up with a few others including the wonderfully named Wogarama.
Was one of the really early examples of ethnic comedy.
is this like finding out zwarte piet is completely normalized and the rest of the world is like what the fuck
"ah yes connoisseurs of his unique brand of expression have debated the true meaning of the scene in which he becomes hopelessly tangled in spaghetti, and then his return to the concept in his later work, mirroring it, in a sense a return to youthful exuberance"
We reclaimed the "wog" slur a long time ago and Wogs out of Work was a huge part of that. You'll still get a punch in the mouth of you say it as an insult, but it's a term of endearment now in Southern European communities.
Also, the first 5 minutes is basically the life story of almost every Greek/Italian kid in the 70s and 80s and 90s.

Mental health.
A thing both parties agree but has not improved.
I'd argue that people that just say "mental health" without a plan are essentially doing a more sanctimonious version of "thoughts and prayers."

Fair, why the fuck these politicians don’t have a plan after so many years of the same?
You understand why “thought and prayers” feels empty when it comes from politicians, specially one in an administration that has acted like cynical assholes. I’m sorry I don’t believe JD Vance genuinely cares about praying and dealing with grief.
more love less hate
Thoughts and prayers are meaningless from politicians, yes, but I don't think it's good for online fedora tippers to shit all over the concept of prayer especially if it brings even a small bit of peace to those who lost their children.
I'd love for better gun control and more funding for mental health but much like the right has an issue with enacting gun control, the left has the small issue of letting the mentally unwell go unchecked because of "progress".

I don't believe anything from him from a religious standpoint. I'd take the Popes word over a US politician.

Oh, I totally agree with that.
I’m just saying that JD Vance sounds reasonable only if you separate the context (the vice president of an administration where president is a notorious atheist pretending being Christian to win votes, getting asked in how they are going to deal with school shootings beyond religious platitudes ).
The fedora guys are an easy target, specially in this context, but that person was not wrong in questioning him.
