Even immigration isn't one I'm willing to grant sight unseen. Just knowing Heritage in the past, I'd want confirmation that what Trump's doing with deportations is listed in Project 2025. It's a Trumpian policy of do something visible (and inefficient) and then come up with ad hoc defenses later, Heritage would have written out a legalistic defense of why the existing immigration system allows you to expedite deportations. The cases that have gotten all the attention have involved the administration just not bothering with easy ways to do the things they wanted to do under existing law. This was rampant throughout the first term.

This however is something that probably is in Project 2025 because it's a long standing Heritage and conservative position. They want "obscenity" to be restored to entirely local control, so wlw can be illegal in Texas but shitting yourself in public is just being trans in San Francisco. The courts have mostly curtailed this because of the way the appeals courts have jurisdiction. It's like 900 pages, Heritage (conservative think tank, very strong with Republicans since the Reagan Revolution) puts this out literally every single election. Most of it is copy and pasted from one election to the next because they never achieve any of it. Every single one until Project 2025 called for the repeal of Roe, that happened so they got to drop it. After 9/11 they suddenly really cared about terrorism, it's always called for overhauling the tax system. This is about like a 25 year old thing that Amazon never got rid of and yet that thread has people confusing it with another thing and saying the mandatory phrases as if it was some common program everybody was using. Though it's not surprising there's people who actually have been using it in that thread.

edit: Amazon will almost straight up tell you the "household" thing for Amazon Family is metaphorical, it's more valuable for them to keep people who would never subscribe in the Prime ecosystem.

They've been removing benefits from prime for a while now, there's barely any reason to stick with it.
