I don't think he actually believes a lot of that stuff and it's just him rebelling against and trying to shock the squares. He has that whole image but then he'll go and write nearly all his DC stuff where he demonstrates that he clearly knows better and can't be remotely stupid enough to believe them especially when he's hating other writers doing the same shit. People get hung up on the weird random shit he puts in stories and think that's everything while missing the plots and structure and the conservatism at the center of it all.

I think this is part of what makes him so unique, a lot of the alternatives like Geoff Johns, Scott Snyder and Joshua Williamson are comparative radicals because their solutions are often only ever dramatic escalation, massive power increases and rewrite the canon. They're more typical nerds seeking complete control.

Any film that has the audacity to show animal death deserves to be banned. You want to kill off an innocent creature to show how evil or messed up a villain is, then show them killing a child or a baby. Animals matter more than humans.

I’m serious. You don’t mess with animals in fiction, even if they’re fictional. The number one rule in all of filmmaking is you never harm or kill off the pets. This show deserved its fate for upsetting people that way.

At least it wasn’t as bad as 13 Sins. In that film there’s a gross scene where a guy has to choose between killing a human or a cute dog, and he chooses the dog. I can’t imagine anyone who would be psychotic enough to do that.

Speaking of people needing help, I guess this is why Jeff hasn't yet streamed:

I've seen a few posts like this in the past but the answers seem to get updated fairly frequently. Figured I would just ask myself.

So I'm getting a new pre-built desktop for the purpose of streaming console games using an Elgato capture card. I do not have plans to use it for PC gaming. I'll be doing an overlay with two cameras (one for me, one for the kitty)

So far, I've been looking at these two on Best Buy:

They both seem to have very similar specs except the iBUYPOWER is 32GB RAM while Omen is 16GB. I'm not too familiar with iBUYPOWER so I'm not sure if it's something I should avoid or if the reason why they're similar in price is basically because of an upcharge on the Omen brand.

There's also this, which is a bit lower in price but I'm not sure if I should aim a little higher or not:

I've also been told different things as to whether or not 16 or 32 RAM is what I should aim for. I've been told that all I need is 16 but also been told that I should go for 32 to cover all my bases.

I'm not specifically tied to this price point either so if you have a recommendation (on Best Buy, preferably), feel free to post!
