Maybe if the left actually had a version of Charlie Kirk who went out and spoke on college campuses instead of sitting on some stream every day eating food and complaining it would help your cause. I didn't agree with Kirk but he actually put in the ground work. The online lefts issue is that they're so insulated that they are unwilling to speak with the other side. Creating some sort of common ground to pull aside centrists or center-rights who are questioning Trumps actions would be a nice idea compared to, you know, DUNKING on stupid jerk faces on reddit, twitter, or bluesky so you feel heckin validated.

Stop purity testing and actually have conversations. Something to think about. But I understand that a lot of y'all have anxiety and that's a lot of work.   

Every time the left discusses their "reasonable" stances in public, normal people are exposed to how fucking insane some of them are and are turned off immediately. 

Women cannot have penises, biological men have no place being in a boxing ring with women, carrot bartering is not a reasonable substitute for capitalism, we can't shut down the coal industry tomorrow without starving millions of people to death, people who murder kids at a music festival should not be rewarded.

They revolted because something like 20% of Nepal's young work online and another third are unemployed because they can't get jobs in the country and the government shut down access to all the major websites/apps because they weren't cooperating with the government's plan to better tax this online work. Regarding this story about the trans roommate. These news sites aren't just making this up… they are reporting what the FBI is telling them.

And look who runs the federal government, who runs the FBI. I honestly think it's entirely likely that this is being leaked to the press on purpose and it's not true. They know once something is out there, even if it eventually gets redacted, people don't bother checking for updated news stories. The entire right wing apparatus in this country now believes that Robinson was in a relationship with a man transitioning to a woman and they will never NOT believe that.

Honestly, this is the thing that we should be talking about: how people like Charlie Kirk have contributed to not only the normalization of violent rhetoric online but how he aided in the normalization of actually engaging in target harassment that looks not just to harass people, but to cause them physical harm and how the platforms that were supposed to be monitoring what was going on and preventing all of this from happening were asleep at the wheel.

We should be talking about how people like this aided in the creation of the issues online that helped give rise to the sort of people who not only actively seek to hurt others for no reason but to hurt them, but how they seek to actively revel in said violence.

The same games industry that is complicit in so much shit might end up getting fucked by the same US government they were so quick to suck up after this incident. Ironic how that works.
