Staff are trying more to be cognizant of toxic behavior that seeks to inflame tensions and potentially derail threads. Reporting these kinds of posts is one step towards making Era a more tolerable and friendlier place to be.

Overall though, it must be said that there have been recent conversations peppered throughout the forum of its political leanings, particularly whether or not it's left-leaning in any meaningful sense of the concept. The posts that were actionable certainly do not help refute the argument. The housing crisis is inextricably intertwined with larger issues of economic security, land management and climate change, impoverishment and healthcare- issues that can compound when taken in an intersectional context with regards to things like race and gender. These are things that, as self-described leftists, we should all be on the same page on with regards to wanting to improve. As a principle, humans should be entitled to shelter.
