Yesterday the Supreme Court decided to fuck over half a million people and gave the Trump administration the go ahead to strip TPS for Venezuelans even though a federal judge and the Ninth Court of appeals made a final judgement on our favor(law scholars are in shock because SCOTUS has basically never stayed a final decision in a shadow docket)

I have been leaving in the US for 24 years. I graduated in 2013 from the University of South Florida with a BS in computer engineering. I have a good paying job as a IT Professional working with the Court Administration for one of the Florida's Judicial Circuit which I'm going to lose.

I don't know what to do. I feel like a complete failure because in all these years I wasn't able to even get partner to marry and form a family and maybe get paper this way but alas.

I haven't sleep tonight thinking what I'm going to do.

I came here in 2001 on a tourist visa and overstayed. Was undocumented until Biden Admin gave us TPS.

I can't apply for asylum here because the time has passed.

My Venezuelan passport is expired and can't renew it here because there is no Venezuelan embassy here.

Go back to Venezuela, renew my passport there and see where I can go from there?

I was thinking of asking my employer to sponsor me but that is out of the window now. Can't do it in one month.

This sucks.

Lina Khan was absolutely 100% correct about Activision.

The only reason Microsoft ever wanted it, was to buy an easy 'win' in the console wars. That's what all their buy outs were about.
We can't beat/buy Nintendo, we'll just buy Rare. We can't make any game that appeals to kiddos we'll just buy Minecraft. 

With Activision the one and only goal was to just have Call of Duty exclusive on Xbox because HALO was already fucking dead.
When that didn't work out Xbox was dead. They pulled the trigger too soon when gaming was still on the COVID high.
Had they waited for the lay offs (that they claimed they tried to avoid) and/or the Saudis buying Embracer or EA they would've had COD exclusive on Xbox.

Now all they can do is jack up the price to serve a dwindling userbase. They lost $300 million in Call of Duty sales on Xbox because of GamePass. 
If Sony and Nintendo didn't held fast the way they did, GamePass would've been the Kamikaze plane that took the whole industry down.

Now Activision is tied up to a sinking platform and EA is drowning in 20 billion in debt.

the ftc's big argument was that it would make MS too dominant and they would have made all the activision games including COD locked to xbox. turns out the complete opposite happened and they are nearing third party status with how much their games are on ps and switch

plus that tweet bitches about rising prices and layoffs, none of which are exclusive to microsoft. nintendo is even out here raising switch 1 prices

Not so fast... this clown noticed something off about the game, y'all.

I'm honestly surprised! Hearing all the folks in this thread give it praise, props to the studio for putting out a great game! Digimon fans feasting right now it seems.

Gotta say though, aside from it being a Digimon game in 2025 and facing that uphill battle, the marketing images for this game have really emphasized the girl with the balloon tits busting out.. Like she's front and center on most artwork. It's super egregious and has got to have been intentionally designed (there's even a character behind the booba girl staring down towards her like "oh damn those are some huge bazongas" lol).

I guess I'm surprised there's such quality behind such obviously fan service-y marketing like that. Figured it was another game with sexualized anime aesthetics pandering to gooners and otakus cashing in on known franchises.

So I was at a party yesterday that my gf was invited to. Her friends were there but outside that I didn't recognize anyone else. It was dark and after a bit of joking around with her group I made my way to the balcony. I got wrapped up in talking to some people there, they were alright, and lost track of time and my gf didn't respond to a text I sent earlier. I then looked in and thought I spotted her since I was looking at a girl with her same sweater and hair color.

It was very loud and quite a few more people had arrived so I was just trying to make my way through. Keep in mind it was also dark but the sweater was light enough to see. When I get to her Im just like "hey!" trying to get her attention but she's leaning over the table talking and unaware of me. So I grab her butt and see her jump, and Im laughing going "Its me, calm down!" and when she turns around its not my gf. She looks at me, smiles, and quickly hugs me while Im having no clue who she was at first. So Im just shocked, embarrassed, and confused, but then her face starts forming clearer to me and its my gf's freaking sister. In the dark and without bangs, I truly didn't recognize her and it had been sometime since we last interacted even. So somewhere between me going to the balcony and then, she arrived and asked my gf for her sweater... just screwing me over.

I still see what happened replaying in my head and I didn't even get a chance to explain that I thought she was her sister as she didn't seem to mind and I was too embarrassed in that moment. We just were talking really loud and overly enthusiastic to each other but I was really trying to hide how much I wanted to hit an eject button from that place. I do feel like she is owed an apology and some clarification, but damn its just too awkward.

So anyone ever had a situation like this where you mistook someone else for your partner? Did you explain or just let it blow over?

Then the Xbox business model (sell consoles and subscriptions with exclusive games) essentially died and it turned into Activision+ .
It's why they cancelled stuff like those codename projects and Perfect Dark. It doesn't really fucking matter if they release Bejeweled 4 or bring back Banjo.

Xbox is the domain of ghetto gamers now soon they will launch a game streaming service with ads that allows you to play 5 hours a month for "free". 

Sony luckily still has that posh arrogance about them that makes them stick with renowned videogame creators.

And both Sony and Nintendo have that Japanese honor code baked into them that prevents them from selling the joint to a Saudi oil cartel. 
Xbox will just keep circling down the drain until they axe it or sell it.

Ngl but it has close to 0 fan service… the least anime fanservice by the usual standards (at least first 15h)

It's the artist Suzuhito Yasuda's gimmick and as someone who has been super critical of him and dislikes that they keep using him, as Gans said, the game itself is surprisingly tame, especially compared to Cyber Sleuth which could get pretty bad.

That said, this is Digimon. Even back in the day, you had Digimon like Angewomon, so you are going to run into sexualized designs as a nature of the beast. Personally, I'm ok as long as the human women are done well, but figure people should know before going in if that bothers them.

I realize many of you are just going to meme this OP, I fully admit I've may have a bit too much Hanna-Barbera right now; and I fully realize the chances of such a game ever existing are basically 0%; but thinking about it I think the concept could work.

Especially if, like what Marvel Tokon Fighters has shown us, if it had it's own unique identity to make it stand out, like what if Hanna-Barbera and Looney Tunes were redesigned by Akiman or Bengus and played into classic video game tropes and ideas like Yogi Bear an Akira/Kazuya style execution-demanding fighter or Velma as a Small Judo-Style tech grappler (their is actual context for this, A Pup Named Scooby Doo shows that Velma LOVED wrestling and had a black belt in Judo).
