Yup I'm done for a while too busy to date...
Oh there is a redhead in the deck oops accidentally matched. Oh well. Let's see how she replies to my opener.
"If you could wake up anywhere in the world where would you be?"
"Idc as long as I wake up next to the cutest guy in the world"

Try not to jizz on it.
Well she wants to date but her neighbour committed suicide so she is kind of in shock right now.
Just my luck.
Oh well I'll drop my number so she can contact later (or not)
Yeah. We’ve all been there.

You believe that?
I wouldn't waste my time.

This year I've had
- Dead mother
- Dead neighbour
- Dead cat
- House ruined by a friend
- Traffic accident
- Family member terminally ill
- Gym injury
- Trip to Peru
etc. etc.
Only one of these actually moved ahead with the date later. All others turned into ghosts.
The problem with this is that you almost can't win, if you are too supportive over text you end up in the friendzone and they lose interest to date or they think you're too needy.
If you wish them well and drop your number, they have to ask you out, which they never do because it goes against their nature and feeds their insecurity plus their interest has an expiration date. ("he's probably not interested anymore", "maybe I don't like him as much as I thought", "oh I have someone better now")
If this chick contacts me again it'll be a miracle. I don't rule it out considering how interested she is so far but I highly highly doubt it. It might help that she's 37, certainly a cute natural redhead but she likes board games, tea & cookies and nature. And it's one of those local girls from a town nearby not the world traveling influencer type from Amsterdam. In her group shot I recognize one of her friends and her pictures seem somehow familiar too. The second one where I assume the profile got shared somehow or she knows me from before or vetted me in the groupchat or whatever.

I wouldn't waste my time. it checks out, someone jumped in front of a train in her town yesterday. I connected the dots immediately.
She also started to realize she had no time this week as she was typing out the messages.
anyway the dating scene is evolving soon Taylor Swift worshipping dick in her songs and Lana Del Rey carrying her hubby to the Paris fashion week will have a profound impact. As does the economy. The "think" pieces are also heading in that direction.

Stopped myself from saying: "the new Taylor Swift album must've hit her hard" or "don't worry I'm basically a suicide prevention line" and just kept it at "damn that's heavy stuff my sympathies". And lo and behold around lunch time I got a "thank you so much" message and she didn't unmatch.
Everything comes down to 1 skill and 1 skill alone: sales.

Well the day didn't go as planned. I woke up with a stomach flu. No chance in hell I could make a 2 hour drive without shitting myself from start to finish.
Looking for duffel bags on Amazon. One option specifies "for men" and includes two patches. One is the American flag. The other says "SPORTS". Those sly bastards at shenzhenshihanbolikejiyouxiangongsi clocked us American men.

Missed 2 training days because the coach was out sick but today luckily could train again. Did the 45 minute training schedule in 15 minutes. Afterwards 10 minutes of air biking and after that decided to do another 20 minute walk.

I was shopping and returned my cart and I always end up thinking of this stupid meme that blew up a few years back
I was always annoyed by it, it ascribes all this morality to what is really a pragmatic choice
like, think about it: the idea that someone would be too lazy to return their cart...so, laziness implies you can't walk the usually-30-feet to the nearest return, which means you just leave the cart right next to your car
except doesn't that mean there's a not-insignificant chance you run into it while pulling out? maybe it starts rolling of its own accord and bumps into your car?
returning the cart is for your own personal convenience/protection as much as anyone else's and says absolutely nothing about your morality
everyone was passing this shitty meme around to pat themselves on the back for being a good and model citizen over nothing
What if I walked to the store and take the cart home with me

Spoiler: (click to show)(click to hide) Fuck off it's not racist. If you ain't lived in a predominantly Asian suburb before, then you don't know shit.

In the Netherlands there's a coin lock on the carts that you open by inserting one euro. When you return it, you get your euro back.
They know we care more about money than morals.
The dutch and their shekels

Wow the Netherlands sounds like some kind of utopia
Apparently that new Ed Gein show is absolute distasteful shlock and episode 4 gets so bad that people had to turn it off.
If this is just marketing, it's working.

It has been a weird ass day.
Old friend texts me out of the blue, Battlefield 6 is out today, want to play?
Bought it, played it. We had a good time.
Now I'm chatting with an Asian lady who is intelligent and spiritual. She did a zodiac sign reading on me based on my birthday/time, location etc. .
The AI music is actually a good conversation topic. She's reading some book about how AI will benefit the world.
