This is not true. Biden for example has always been one of the more extreme members of congress when it comes to Israel. As VP during the Obama administration he did everything in his power to shield Netanyahu from consequences for illegally annexing West Bank territory.

Their mad aquisition spree hasn't really worked out for them at all and Game Pass hasn't moved consoles in the way they imagined. iirc as part of the ActiBlizz purchase going through they agreed to still release COD on Playstation, and slowly other previously exclusive titles are making their way over too. Plus there's stuff like Perfect Dark and Everwild being canned. Just awful mismanagement after hedging their bets on Game Pass and acquiring entire studios and publishers to basically buy exclusives to sell consoles.

It was already pointed out multiple times in this thread that protesting Harris (while she's on a book tour, making money off of the election she lost and handed to a fascist) helps send a message to other politicians who are less accessible because they are not on book tours.

Also, please tell me the "more constructive ways to support the people of Gaza." And they have to be things that doing this protest would somehow take away from. Because you can protest Trump one day and Harris the next. You can protest Harris while donating money to pro-Palestinian charities.

You are pretending that this is an "either or" situation when it is not.

People get so locked into the "orange man bad" mentality that they are unable to parse reality from what they want to believe. Because yes, the orange man is bad. He is a white supremacist and a fascist. He is worse than Harris in almost every possible metric and both America and the world would be better with Harris in the White House.

I do not believe Trump cares about the lives of Palestinians for a single second. Every decision he makes and everything he pushes for is to serve himself.

But we can't put our fingers in our ears and pretend that the ceasefire didn't happen under him, after Harris openly stated she would be the same as Biden. Those are things that happened.

Some people seem to be angrier at the idea of Trump getting credit for the ceasefire than they are happy at the ceasefire happening. But when it comes to this specific topic, all anger should be pointed at Harris, her campaign, and the democrats that gave Trump the ability to take credit.

Harris could have said, "When I am president, I will demand an immediate ceasefire and cut off funding to Israel until it happens." It would have been a popular decision. It would have helped her on election day. She didn't do that, because she agreed with what the US was doing.

I'm not going to remark on the subject of voting responsibility and Democrats because it's a waste of time and energy and it's clear folks haven't even learned to blame Trump voters for voting for Trump.

What's interesting to me though is the naked admittance that people still are not processing the dialectical relationships present within our economic and geopolitical reality, and are still acting like the world's fights are not their own. If you are a Black or Brown person admitting that "my people are now in danger," first of all, where the fuck have you been the last 400 years of European and American imperialism? Second of all, you do realize that the IDFs methods are used to train the very law enforcement that surveils and kills us regardless of who is in office, right? There's basically a non-zero chance the knee-to-neck maneuver that killed George Floyd that you protested over was introduced into America by Israeli training, and indeed the Cop Cities being erected everywhere are going to facilitate more cooperation between US law enforcement and the IDF. The militarization of our police is not an accident; it's by design.

Gaza is not just some random-ass "conflict" in a faraway place that you can ignore. The IDF is killing you too.

If you are Black/Brown, you do not, and frankly never did, have the luxury of participating in politics in such a isolated and selfish manner because imperialism is not bound by borders. You do not have the luxury to be ignorant. You do not have the luxury of thinking that you can ever fully assimilate. Imperialism is the naked truth of how this world operates and you better believe that the allies and vassal states of the US are directly or indirectly involved in your oppression as well.
