No Asmongold actually supported Emiru. He even mentioned that she took very good care of her rabbits – he said he saw it in person.

This might be an odd question, but over the past few days, I've been wondering if I play Pokemon in an odd way then most others do. So the question, how do you generally play Pokemon?



For me, I usually like to keep a small dedicated team of a differing variety (except the few times like in Sw/Sh where I tried to do an all Grass team playthrough), usually around 8-9 Pokemon. While I'll catch others and finish the dex after the main game, I try to play it like the anime with a small team because it makes them feel like true companions and friends; teammates like any other RPG. I often keeping them around equal level and making sure their properly balanced. I always make sure to max out their friendship and love the interaction features of the past mainline games. As I result, I usually don't have a full team till the 2-3 Gym; and why I'm glad newer games have made it easier to get Ice and Dragon types earlier.



Z-A has been making me wonder whether I've been playing them wrong because of how they game expects me to be catching Pokemon non-stop be training tons of them and seemingly just having one and dones, train them up for one fight and then that's it. Like it feels like the game wants me to play like Gary Oak/Shigeru rather then Ash/Satoshi.



Do people usually play like that? I know it's common for some to focus solely on their starter or say do all Eevees or the Nuzlocke stuff.
