What I do know is the far right has been increasingly prevalent in raising the violence level in our culture and agitating for much looser gun laws, both of which contribute to the likelihood of this type of incident. Thus, this reinforces to me that they need to be countered more effectively, whether there was any direct involvement or not.

Beyond parody

"This is all the result of far-right hate" say the people that think the events of Oct 7 were either a false flag, or a great attempt at anti-colonialism.

The people who believe that Israelis are all evil baby-killers, but refuse to believe anything negative about Palestinians and their actions... they play absolutely no part in the rise of antisemitism.

Just remember, when Greta Thunberg and the other activists say, "Globalise the Intifada", this is what she means.

The cause is religious extremism.

Let's deal with that.

Gee, I wonder if using anti semitic dog whistles has to do with this. And when people explain why this terms are considered that way you get offended and defensive.

Given that people view Oct 7 as a day of liberation, the question sadly isn't without merit.

Most people aren't good and made worse by success or fame.
Big difference between all the cases of completely unknowns, vs like continuing to give money to JK Rowling while she very openly funnels it to hurt trans people.

Have these bluesky slueths ever pinpointed exactly how much of Rowling's fortune subsidizes the genocide? Like itemized with bullet points? It's seems to be quite a common assertion.

Look, I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with more revealing attire, nor do I think a more sexually alluring outfit option necessarily means that a character is being oversexualised. But like ... I think these are a bit much.

For what it's worth, I think the game is incredible. I actually only finished it a few days before the new update, so was keen to dive right in. I mostly stuck to the default outfits while I was playing the main story, but as I've been exploring all the endgame content I've switched out to more extravagant, high-fantasy style outfits that I think make the characters look like heroic badasses. So I have (vague E33 party member spoilers >>) [ISPOILER] Maelle in the Obscur outfit, for Verso I use either the Clair or Pelerin outfits, and for Lune I use the Danseuse outfit.[/ISPOILER] I think all of these looks cool and stylish and fit that heroic high-fantasy vibe.

But I've been at a loss for a cool option for Sciel. She also has the Danseuse outfit option, but I think putting (minor E33 spoiler >>) [ISPOILER]the two romance options[/ISPOILER] in the same outfit feels a little icky to me when everyone else gets unique outfits. Especially considering Lune gets the Danseuse outfit as part of a quest reward whereas you just buy Sciel's one off a merchant. The closest I was running with for Sciel was the Sirene outfit, which sort of fit the vibe I was going for, but even that outfit feels more closely tied to Lune's character than Sciel's.

So when I saw that the new update included new outfits, I was excited to see if there'd be something cool for Sciel. And on the one hand, it's almost the vibe I was hoping for: the long black tassel/ribbon thingies (I don't know what those are called) along with the angled shoulder pads and the gold Esquie necklace give the cool high-fantasy vibe I wanted. But did we need to be able to see her entire leg exposed AND her entire back exposed AND her stomach AND her armpits AND somehow simultaneously both sideboob AND underboob? Not to mention that once again, every character gets a unique outfit except for Lune and Sciel who get stuck with identical outfits.

Like, why does Verso get a really trendy suit that completely covers him meanwhile Lune's and Sciel's leave 75% of their skin exposed?

Not to mention that Verso also gets the Visages outfit in this update - which is simultaneously very unique looking while also having a high-fantasy battle-armour look. I get that (vague E33 act 3 spoilers >>) [ISPOILER]Verso and Maelle are the main characters of the game, and therefore have the most outfit options, and that the new level is called 'Verso's Drafts', so would therefore focus on Verso.[/ISPOILER] But it would have been nice to have an option for Sciel that isn't a gag outfit, a civilian outfit, or something that sh
ows almost all of her skin.
