Pathways is an interactive game designed for 11- to 18-year-old pupils and funded by Prevent, a Home Office programme for tackling extremism.

Young players are directed to help their in-game characters – a white teenage boy and girl – to avoid being reported for “extreme Right-wing ideology” after discussing migration online.

Characters can face extremism referrals if they choose to engage with groups that spread “harmful ideological messages”, or join protests against the “erosion of British values”. Even researching online immigration statistics is portrayed negatively.

Other in-game pitfalls include sharing a video that claims Muslim men, rather than homeless veterans, are being given emergency accommodation.

An in-game meter monitors how extreme the character’s behaviour is. Those who “lose” may be given counselling to deal with “ideological thoughts” or referred to an anti-terrorism expert.

The game was developed with government backing by councils in East Yorkshire over growing concerns about immigration and tensions about migrant accommodation in their communities.

Matteo Bergamini, SOUK’s founder and CEO, said: “Teaching media literacy ensures that all those impacted by our programmes leave with life-long tools and skills to safeguard themselves from these threats.

“Our Pathways game is designed for the local threat picture in collaboration with the local authority and funded by the Home Office, to teach about the concept of extremism and radicalisation and illustrate the scope of online dangers and radicalisation routes. Games can be a fantastic and interactive way to engage young people in complex topics and showcase the support available to them.”

Scenario One: Introduction to extremist content online
A stranger on a gaming web page the character uses to play games with friends encourages them to
download and share a video that contains extreme content. The user must decide how to respond.

Scenario Two: Making connections between online ideas and real-life events
The character begins making comparisons between himself and a co-student at college, who
belongs to a different racial group. They recall the ideas within the video and begin to make
connections. The user must decide how to respond.

Scenario Three: Extreme Right-Wing Propaganda on Social Media
The character encounters a video which demonises those from other races, nationalities and
cultures. It shows White British Veterans are suffering on the streets, whilst people from abroad are
given lots of state support. The user must decide how to respond.

Scenario Four: Local content production and peer pressure
The character’s close friend has become involved with a local group which aligns with the extreme
right wing. They have begun making their own content, and pressure the character to engage with it.
The user must decide how to respond.

Scenario Five: Invitations to an illegal protest at a Hull war memorial
The character is invited to go to a protest in Hull. It’s about British values and Anti-immigration. The
user must decide how to respond.

Scenario Six: Introduction of Prevent and expression of concern
The character has become known for their proximity to Extreme Right-Wing ideology and groups. A
concerned teacher confronts the character and recommends that she make a Prevent Referral on
their behalf. The user must decide whether or not they agree to support.

Because it's specific to resetera. They wouldn't express annoyance if Harris was in charge. It's 500% specific to Trump and only Trump but paramount will get in bed with whoever looks to be in charge come 2028. Yes mergers absolutely suck for employees across the board, but it will be definitively worse under Netflix than Paramount. Paramount at least wants to attempt to keep things the same, but there would be obvious job loss due to redundancy. Netflix wants to buy WB for their IP and basically only their IP. Their contracts for aforementioned non top of the line "creatives" are notoriously horrible vs the traditional studios, and thats not to even mention the disastrous downstream effects it would have on theaters. I dont know how one can say they care about employees but not care about theaters at the same time. Studios depend on theaters who depend on studios. The other studios would have to reshape as well. Ideally no merger at all happens but doesnt seem very realistic at this point. 

Regarding Bari Weiss, I can buy she doesnt have the experience or know how to take over an entire news room. But again, that certainly isn't the reason resetera hates on her. They hate her because shes right of Stalin, which is to say shes a militant center lefty. Or worse, a Jew.

But I guess the phenomenon of men treating female partners like mothers instead of equals is not exclusive to those who can't afford to move out.

It's hard. It would be nice to date someone for the first time but there's so many hurdles already aside from this like dating apps being predatory and full of bots that I don't see my chances as being very good anymore, and I'm 30. I can't imagine how it'll be when I get older. As lonely as I am, I'm just trying to survive right now, and I guess that's good enough
