I'll continue to side with the myriad child and child protection charities in the UK calling the idea of a blanket under-16 ban bad, for the same reasons I and others have spoken to for years here.

I'm sorry, but these feel like psyops to get people's personal information in the hands of dangerous companies like Palantir (Discord with Persona recently) via using social media as the scapegoat. I don't think these politicians care about children's mental health truly. This kind of method won't get to the root of the problems, that you would achieve through extensive funding for mental health services accessible to everyone at all ages. It's just preying on parents' insecurities and fears. Taking away social media won't suddenly make your child better with attention or connection.

The Laken Riley Act absolutely does not allow the detention of anyone indefinitely, it requires the detention of non-citizens charged or convicted of a crime during immigration cases, the latter of which was already the law. It did not enable anything ICE is doing as they either already had this power (Trump/Project 2025/etc. interpretation) or they currently don't.

So for Capcom it goes far beyond reference. They literally scan body and face models in costume. So yea it's not an artist going "ok we need to give her hips/an hourglass figure." Hes also done nothing involving a Yoko Taro aka reposting lewd shit about his own character.
