He told his chat he wanted to give Raman a “tough but fair shake” and insisted he was not there to “disparage her.”Guillotine Hasan too.

Quote:I myself, and many other trans chatters in the community have noticed an extreme lack of coverage on trans issues in the past year and a half during Trump 2. It only keeps going. https://www.reddit.com/r/Hasan_Piker/comments/1tfkgky/trans_issues_and_hasan/ I feel bad for Hasan. ![]() There's greater things in the world happening but let's focus on Trans issues. 4 users liked this post: benji, HeavenIsAPlaceOnEarth, HaughtyFrank, filler

the trans right BS is something the capitalists came up with to distract from real problems like the rising cost of living and lack of increase in pay to match it.

We already had a hasan with Aaron bastani, basically the same person except bastani was even more qualified to talk crank shit on the internet. If you’re interested in seeing the future of hasan, you can find bastani on right wing 24 hour news.

Quote:Bastani wrote a book named after the term, Fully Automated Luxury Communism: A Manifesto, published in 2019 by Verso Books.[26] In it, he conceives of a Third Disruption that would see the overthrow of capitalism and effective use of solar power for energy and mineral-rich asteroids for resources. Bastani opposes capitalism for creating short-term incentives that lead to artificial shortages. With technological advancement, UBI and free public services could be achieved in an environmentally sustainable manner.[27]Ah, yes, simply advance past current scarcity. Why did no one else think of this? ![]() edit: Actually, the funny thing is that this is basically Marx's argument. He didn't know how it would happen, and wasn't dumb enough to speculate like this moron, but he said capitalism would eventually lead to this with everything essentially "fully automated" to eliminate scarcity. Modern socialists/anti-capitalists reject Marx and basically spend all their time arguing that we can't let capitalism achieve this, we need to stop it before it can and lock in poverty forever. Then the utopia will just manifest somehow. 2 users liked this post: Besticus Maximus, HeavenIsAPlaceOnEarth
Is there a chapter in there where he explains how left-wing governments keep getting elected despite spending hundreds of billions of dollars on asteroid-mining technology that may or may not pan out? Or are we having a quick interim decade(s) of chinese-style dictatorship before democracy is restored when scarcity if finally over?
