The police has been abolished by Darializa, obviously.

But yeah, we had the same question about Far Cry 5, but at least they had the rugged geography of Montana as somewhat of an explanation.

If it's an hostage situation, I wonder what sharia law is there to enforce. I assume one character will steal a bottle of water and get his hand cut off. I'd actually bet real money it's in the plot.

The description seems to imply that the Islamists convince the anti-genocide protesters to adopt Islam out of solidarity, which to me feels like enough time for the Governor to call out the National Guard if the local and state police are also corrupted by this argument.

All the trans success was through secrecy and subterfuge so maybe visibility was a mistake. Visible or not it wasn't sustainable once people found out.

Damn Armie, I hope that weird sex cannibalism thing was worth it. He must be doing it for the love of the art.

And thanks Uwe for showing what's really going on in "EUROPE"

Quote:The reason that soccer is the largest international sport is because it’s a sport perfectly designed for scammers.

Even in the World Cup, supposedly the highest and most prestigious level of international sport, there’s a stoppage of play roughly every 60 seconds for some guy writhing in pain from some tiny incidental contact. Interestingly, once he gets the call, he gets right up and runs for another hour just fine. It’s almost as if he wasn’t actually hurt at all.

Watch what happens when someone scores a goal - the defending team will immediately throw their hands up in protest, looking for any excuse to disallow the goal. Offsides, incidental contact, anything to refuse admitting they got scored on.

Whenever a ball goes out of bounds, each team starts fervently pointing at one another like toddlers on a playground saying “I didn’t do it, HE did it!”

Every single aspect of the sport is childish scamming. This doesn’t happen in any other sport - Hockey players don’t act this way, and almost all hockey players come from high trust countries. Almost all soccer teams come from low trust countries. They gravitate towards the sport because it rewards scammers. That’s it.

Quote:White people tend to like contact sports - hockey, football, rugby - in which violence is a formalized element of game play.

Thirdies are in love with soccer, in which a core tactic is writhing around in performative agony to try to get the ref to call a penalty.

This is very similar to the strategies the two groups use for world conquest. Whites prefer open and honest warfare; nons pretend to be oppressed child refugees.

Every spring, when it starts getting hotter, I wait and wait and wait before I turn on my AC for the first time of the year. I tell myself I'm not a pussy. I can handle the heat. I just need to acclimatize. Waiting is good for the environment and my wallet. Then I eventually cave and realize how much of a dumbass I was for needlessly enduring the heat for a few extra weeks.
So I can understand the delusion the Europeans are going through. They've been telling themselves the same things ever since the last glacial period.

"Do not, my friends, become addicted to Air Conditioning. It will take hold of you, and you will resent its absence!"

But seriously, climate discourse in the EU is kind of insane. Like here is the Guardian talking about virtuously suffering to better tackle climate change

Quote:AC is quantifiably bad, but I think it’s also philosophically problematic. Cooling offers comfort, making the unbearable bearable, at least for now. That happens at a community level (no one is really disputing we should keep the very old, the very young and the vulnerable cool), but also individually. When you can buy a personal bubble of coolness and not truly feel the heat, the screaming urgency to tackle the collective issue of a world on fire can recede slightly.

It's really turning into a left vs right thing which is just so incredibly dumb. And while the left is worried about bumping the CO2 output by a small degree you got other countries just giving zero fucks all around.

Reducing CO2 output remains a noble goal but when you got people literally dying while Europe is far from the worst climate polluter... it just seems like self sabotage.

That Europe Heat Deaths> USA Gun deaths stat that went viral one-shotted me.

Canada had the same discourse a few years ago after the Vancouver heat dome and deaths front that and it was the same thing as you're seeing from the left Re:Europe— a bunch of well off people with air conditioning in their cars and homes lecturing (poorer) people without that air conditioning is bad actually.

Weirdly you don't see the same discourse about heating homes, and we even open "warming centres" for homeless during extreme cold. Think of all the emissions you could save if you just let them freeze to death.

You also won’t see anyone moralising about heating homes even though it’s overwhelmingly done by directly burning gas. AC with electricity, mainly and increasingly generated by renewables? Better to die.

We’re getting AC installed in our house this year.

Maybe instead of slurping up right-wing propaganda that denies well known science you guys should understand that all of this is a reflection of systems that allowed the circumstance of heat problems to be possible and focus your attention on how we create systems where problems from the temperature is not even a possibility. And at this stage of capitalism slowing climate change will just maintain the unacceptable genocidal status quo, we need to move towards climate abolition.

does europe not have AC in their cars? I had assumed that was a globally standard thing?

if so, if they're suffering, can't they sit in their cars and burn fuel and run the AC so they don't die?

what about american import stores like mcdonalds and starbucks, which I imagine might have a standard template store design they simply used there as well?

if so, can't they just hang out in starbucks so they don't die?
