It's funny watching Libs choose now to try and make a platform by attacking the DSA, Hasan and its affiliates by arguing that those people should have supported Kamala more.
A lot of these people did in fact vote for Kamala, but they understood at the end of the say she was still a moderate who do nothing for the people and just let the republican majority inch our government towards facism.
And shes an Israel supporter and that is still the biggest dividing line in our voters today. So she would have been bad, but she's no Trump I'll give her that.

So back to how  the libs are upset about Hasan and others not pushing Kamala enough, interesting because its always been vote blue no matter who but now that real leftists and progressives are winning...all of a sudden you libs don't want to support those Dems.

The funny part is that while they maybe haven't done it for Charlie Kirk, this has been a regular part of their content for years. Not Fox obviously, but the other two have always tried to show the most extreme supporters of Republicans and bring them up. 

I can so easily think of an example because it was used against Republican candidates since the 1980s:

Just search for this one example and you'll see endless mainstream media stories about Duke endorsing Trump, Trump waffling on the endorsement, then Trump trying to reject it while keeping his supporters, etc. You can go all the way back to George H.W. Bush condemning David Duke but the media asking him about him over and over again.

Hasan probably thinks he's special rather than this being the norm when you say extreme things:

Actually, Duke is a pretty good comparison for Hasan as they have a very similar grifter career of a guy with no accomplishments advocating an extreme position in hopes of power based purely around their personal advocacy of that. Duke even settled into the earlier version of political streamer: talk radio host.

Duke's probably smarter though, he did merchandising and publishing! Also he regularly got himself on mainstream television as a guest.

It's wild how these puff pieces keep getting made. Like isn't it so obvious how much he tones down the rhetoric for reporters?

The Soviet's model was more direct intervention. That was more of a fall back when they couldn't invade themselves to impose a regime. It didn't really work anywhere. The US's batting average is so much higher because we preferred to back people who could win, so almost always the military rather than "groups", over only people who would be perfect submissives. Hence, the need for crushing the Czechs and Hungary. The Soviets became far less effective after Mao bucked them and their economy ceased to exist, culminating in Afghanistan where they invaded yet again to overthrow a communist.

This is a really nice clip for those who claim Hasan's overriding ideology, and thus benefit, is anti-imperialism. Which must mean it's out of context even though it's the same as everything he says.

The US alienated everyone in the Americas and the Soviets still couldn't succeed in any of them. They hadn't backed Castro until after he came to power. What you're asking is that they voluntarily lower their status for no gain to themselves.
