The weird thing is that Falcon Cap didn't even play all that well in the comics. Like there's no one out there going "oh, they need to adapt this legendary Falcon Cap story". Honestly they had a better thing going when it was Falcon and Bucky teaming up.

Taking up the mantle of another character kind of put him on the backfoot right away. There's a constant background radiation where you compare him to the other guy

We've seen time and again how fast he can work on things like replacing their black lead villain with a whitewashed version of another one or getting a Ryan Gosling-led Ghost Rider movie out. If it was really a project Feige gave a shit about, he would have made it happen.

I mean, if we were being truly consistent, we'd ban or sequester discussion of every single game from after about 2024 or so, save for indies which are openly anti-AI, because literally all of them are using AI tools - even if it's only on a code level. But as mentioned, that'd be impractical and make the forum borderline unusable, so it's not gonna happen.



Honestly I just don't want to even bother reading any of this stuff. I think it's fine to make a note that a project used gen AI for certain aspects (code, art, voice over, etc.) and let folks make a determination of whether they want to support the game or not (I know I have my lines on it). But having every single thread devolve into purity testing debates is just so incredibly tiring.
