As said the worst part is that it now seems even clearly bigoted posts aren't acted on (despite at least me reporting them every time). the "they're just copying what other games have done" is just stemming from decades long Sinophobia. It's your typical "they can't do anything themselves, they only copy what we/others are doing" that we also saw with physical goods, such as shoes, cars, clothing items, phones, etc. This logic is just being applied in the case of Chinese games, despite how unique and distinct they are in terms of setting and narrative. That they are located in genres such as character action games does not mean that they're copying other games. People didn't say that Yuji Hori et al. were copying Wizardry or Ultimate when they came up with Dragon Quest.
