Earlier I was looking up some info for a different band and half the reddit thread was about how some guy in the band defended JK Rowling and someone else followed transphobes on Twitter so who gives a shit about them and would listen to them in the first place. Also somebody retweeted and then deleted something that could be read a certain way. Endless handwringing about how the loser musicians they've developed parasocial relationships with aren't morally pure. Attacking the band for not understanding their own lyrics and messages. Five hundred upvotes on "I guess us trans people just aren't allowed to have any music." On and on and on.

I just finished greed island and started the Chimera Ant arc and I forget how wild this section gets



To start I choose to believe the fan theory that Ging used the Greed Island card Pregnancy Stone to give birth to Gon because thats just the funniest outcome considering how he abandoned his kid and set them on a path that would kill most people

They're in their typical trenches again. In most cases I think DLSS5 looks either bad or not good enough to justify the performance hit but there are some games like NBA where it's a pretty good fit. They operate on a "can't give an inch" basis though

I totally get your perspective on both.

To be pedantic, I'd say Trang Lanh is sexualized, but at such a low grade by video game standards it's practically negligible. She's definitely a femme fatale archetype, her clothing frames her and her moves/posing frame her in a certain way.

Again, I wouldn't call it egregious at all, it just might've been more interesting to lean away from a stereotype in my opinion, like possibly making her a character of indeterminate gender, or even male. But the way she actually is is far from a deal breaker and I'm definitely not going to excoriate From for something so relatively benign.
