I'll defer to you given the source is the Daily Fail and it's your country and not mine and I don't know anything about her, but from an outsider's perspective it's "not a good look".

A lot of reasonable people give Islam a pass for behavior they would criticize other groups for. Stuff like this always makes me wonder a bit. Like language proficiency, stable income and condemnation of antisemitism all seem like pretty reasonable things to ask for before you make someone a citizen. Also many countries don't allow dual citizenship at all. And yet other people read this and see the third reich 5 users liked this post: Mask, Nintex, HeavenIsAPlaceOnEarth, Alpacx, benji

Too bad you need a log in for the article because what does "full indigenous ownership of research" mean?

Woke communist indoctrination truely destroyed our wonderful free ambitious and peaceful western society.
This is evil in its purest form. Canada's "principles" on this seem to say as much: https://www.justice.gc.ca/eng/csj-sjc/principles-principes.html Quote:These Principles are to be read holistically and with their supporting commentary. The Government of Canada acknowledges that the understandings and applications of these Principles in relationships with First Nations, the Métis Nation, and Inuit will be diverse, and their use will necessarily be contextual. These Principles are a necessary starting point for the Crown to engage in partnership, and a significant move away from the status quo to a fundamental change in the relationship with Indigenous peoples. The work of shifting to, and implementing, recognition-based relationships is a process that will take dynamic and innovative action by the federal government and Indigenous peoples.https://international.canada.ca/en/global-affairs/corporate/reports/reconciliation-indigenous 3 users liked this post: HeavenIsAPlaceOnEarth, Alpacx, HaughtyFrank

The Afd victory showed just how big the left wing delusions have become that they honestly believed a left wing surge is happening.
Everything is trending right, even more so than before. They're trying to pressure the center by making them adapt left wing policies in exchange for "support" be it from unions of parliamentary majorities. However this destabilizes te center and makes them easy prey for the right. Merz attacks Afd because he says remigration is the same as ethnic cleansing but the fact that the has to bring up remigration shows how much ground the center and left have already lost. 1 or 2 years ago they were able to arrest and fine people because it was a fringe idea. Now they'd have to arrest the majority of the population of a state.

But the left parties improved their share of the vote in Saxony-Anhalt.

I reckon a lot of this has less to do with left and right and more new parties versus old, or incompatibility of historic parties with modernity. It’s weird that the big party in Germany is a Christian party. Tbf, it’s also weird that the big left wing party in the uk is a Labour Party when we have no industrialisation. I think about this a lot, as someone married to one of these parties.

On a similar subject, it looks like CBC has not banned the words "terrorist attacks" afterall.
Quote:Michigan border crossings, including the Gordie Howe International Bridge and Detroit-Windsor Tunnel, will briefly close Friday morning as U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) observes the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/windsor/michigan-border-crossings-closure-9-11-9.7337525 Quote:On September 11, 2001, the people of Gander in central Newfoundland responded with open arms in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks in New York. This week, the town is expected to welcome about 2,000 people for the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks. https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/trump-911-nyc-claims-9.7336949 ![]() But some journalists are still walking on eggshells. Quote:Trump also said that he had lost "hundreds of friends" in the attacks, a remarkable claim given that just under 3,000 died in the attacks which designated terrorist organization al-Qaeda claimed responsibility for. Trump didn't widely repeat either statement, or provide names to media outlets in the latter example, after they received substantial news coverage. Quote:The 9/11 attacks killed nearly 3,000 people, including 26 Canadian citizens. Al-Qaeda, which the U.S. designated a terrorist entity in 1999, claimed responsibility for the attacks. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/windsor/michigan-border-crossings-closure-9-11-9.7337525
