I think a real problem trans Democrats face is that we fundamentally are not taken seriously. When our identities are recognized and respected, it's not because we're believed, but because it's the polite thing to do. I am taken seriously as a woman to the same extent that a kid in a costume is believed to be Batman. It's a polite fiction to be indulged because you're nice and kind and patient.

Which is why they'll say the right things when things are going well, but instantly crumble at the slightest degree of pushback. Because why would you expend any political capital on something that isn't real and doesn't matter? There are more important things at stake! We are treated like misbehaving children when we make any demands, and God forbid we're critical of reptiles like Newsom who are more open about their disdain for us. Why would we rock the boat like this, why would we put everything at risk because we want to play dressup?

And that's the vibe I get whenever we try to make trans rights a line in the sand. Most won't say it out loud, but there's a genuine anger that we'd place more value on our silly bullshit than the mainstream Democratic platform of Getting Back to Normal in Washington.

M.O.B.A. Network AB (publ) today announces a new management structure. Björn Mannerqvist, co-founder, board member and current COO, will assume the role of CEO of M.O.B.A. Network effective September 14, 2026. Anders Ribbing is transitioning from the role of CEO but will remain in the Group Management and take on the role of Chief Operating & Commercial Officer (COO & CCO).

The new structure reflects the long-standing collaboration between Björn Mannerqvist, the Board of Directors and several of the company’s major shareholders. Given Björn’s deep knowledge of M.O.B.A. and the company’s development over many years, the Board considers it natural for him to once again assume the role of CEO, while Anders Ribbing takes on a broader operational and commercial role.

The new structure also creates a clearer division of responsibilities within the Group Management and enables Björn and Anders to focus more distinctly on their respective areas of responsibility.

As CEO, Björn Mannerqvist will assume overall responsibility for the Group, including the company’s strategic direction, board and shareholder-related matters, financial reporting and external communication.

In his new role as COO & CCO, Anders Ribbing will have broad responsibility for the Group’s operational and commercial development, including monetization, partnerships, business development and execution across the Group’s businesses and products. Anders will continue to work closely with Björn and the rest of the management team.

“Björn has a unique understanding of M.O.B.A. and has played a central role in building and developing the company over many years. Anders has, during his time as CEO, led an extensive development of the Group and contributed important commercial and operational expertise. We believe this new structure creates a strong combination of continuity, clear responsibilities and execution power for the next phase of M.O.B.A.’s development,” says David Nylén, Chairman of the Board of M.O.B.A. Network.

I absolutely hate how people talk about this game, just bubbling with glee at the thought of it getting canceled. It has never deserved the treatment it gets, but this is game discussion now, as we all know.



Sorry but this just gets me so mad. It's my favorite game of the year by a long shot. The most interesting shooter I've played in *years*. I haven't been into lore like this since the early years of the Souls games, and yet, every thread or comments section on this game is just full of people are who just itching to see it (and Bungie) die. By no fault of the actual game, mind you. It's always some bullshit like "they should make a single player game" or "D3!"



Anyway, as a current, daily player of this game this update is both hugely exciting and a massive bummer. I'm very excited about all the new ideas, but, bummed that they're delaying it so far away *and* stepping away from seasonal timelines. It certainly does read to me like one last push to get people to openly try engaging with it in good faith before at least ceasing support.



God, I still hope it works, because it a better world, this game would be massive.

We were actively fighting off bathroom bans at every turn and making progress in terms of government documents and medical care and all of that. Hell, we literally had a US president stand up and say that the trans struggle was the civil rights struggle of our lifetime. I remember all this because we had to keep banning people who thought there were more important issues and kept trying to troll the threads about these topics and shit on the people celebrating those victories. At some point between then and now, something went wrong and I just don't know what it is. We went from winning this fight and making real strides to Trump using trans people as a cudgel and running an incredibly anti-trans campaign and winning. It's like a decade of progress just vanished overnight.
