I live alone. Barely a year now.

As a person with ADHD I can't even begin to explain how draining it is to keep track of everything on my own. I regularly have to call my mom, like... once a month, just to get her to help me when it gets overwhelming. It's embarrassing. I like having my own space but the monotony of it all is literally eating away at me and making me feel on edge literally all the time.

I think I'd be better off with a roommate who could yell at me sometimes.

Trying to keep this vague on purpose.

Friend of mine had a professional over to his house to do a job. In a group chat, they sent out a message "So and so is here, they're REALLY fucking hot." A few people asked for pics, even suggesting that they stealth a pic. Which they then did. And then sent to the group chat. Now, the pic wasn't sexy at all, it wasn't an upskirt or anything. But it was still a stealth pic of a person just trying to do their job, for the purposes of sending to a group to show off how hot they were.

I found this creepy AF. When I mentioned this to a single person also in the group chat, they didn't quite agree. "If they had sent the pic unsolicited, that's just creepy. But we did ask for pics, so the creepy was spread out across the group..." as if it made it okay.

So here I am, questioning my sanity. It's not right to take stealth pics of professionals in your house while they're working for you like that, right?

I always hate being asked these questions at work. I know it’s just coworkers trying to make small talk, but I always feel pressured to say I did something cool, novel, or impressive when the reality is "I went for a walk, played video games, did some chores around the apartment" like 70% of the time. And you know what? I am generally fine with that. And yet, it makes me feel a weird amount of anxiety to try to dress that up in a way that feels more "socially acceptable" when answering these questions that I inevitably get asked every single week.

I lived alone for like 6 years and liked it more than having roommates around. That said, I'm a very introverted and solitary person by nature so being alone for long stretches doesn't really bother me.

I lived in a one bedroom apartment and never owned a huge amount of stuff so doing chores and whatnot wasn't a huge deal to me.
