It sounds odd to me because FF VII Rebirth already had Chadley explaining everything during exploration, and repeats himself. I felt he ruined the atmosphere of travelling the melancholic world.

 

Chadley (and his sister) explains monster and summon lore, but one is done if you repeat monster slaying quests and the summon lore is missable. At worst you get some lore drop when you are in a side quest (“the gang is hiding in the old refinery”).

If anything, the game is pretty hands off during main quests.

Dumb question:

Say you have to choose between a white Zimbabwean vs a black north american, which one do you pick for "representation"?

My wife is African, and she's white. She's also certainly a lot more african than most african americans. Should we consider her a diversity choice because she's factually african with two or three centuries of ties to Africa? Or would she be excluded from a "representation" casting because she's white?

I'm genuinely curious, since these conversations always seem to portray people as if their skin colour is the only thing that matters when discussing "representation".

Certainly raises an interesting question about how long a group of people need to be living in an area before they are considered "native"?

I'd like to ask some questions about North Africa and whether the arabs who now live there should be considered African or whether they should still be considered colonisers?

Should arabic Egyptians make acknowledgement of country speeches before major events and meetings and let everyone know that the land always belonged to the Berbers, Nubians, Copts, Jews and Greeks and that they meet on stolen land? 

Should we start a #freemorocco hashtag and get celebrities to call for the arabs to decolonise? Maybe Matlock Vic Mackey Macklemore can get on board as he seems to like this stuff.

This shit is exhausting. I'm dealing with an issue where I had overt racism on my performance review recently. I filed a formal complaint about it and the way HR continues to try to minimize the racism and microaggressions that were totally made up is infuriating. The worst part of it is my company sells the performance product we use and it is supposed to have protections in place to prevent this stuff from happening.
