This shit is exhausting. I'm dealing with an issue where I had overt racism on my performance review recently. I filed a formal complaint about it and the way HR continues to try to minimize the racism and microaggressions that were totally made up is infuriating. The worst part of it is my company sells the performance product we use and it is supposed to have protections in place to prevent this stuff from happening.

Oh I am waiting to sign the offer I got for a new job and once I do I am going to go to HR and tell them to pay me to go. I am hoping I can get a years severance which would be six figures. Ex-teacher here and I would never go back to the classroom. I make four times as much as I was making as a teacher, work from home, and have unlimited vacation. Teachers have so many transferable skills for different industries now is the time to get out of the classroom and move on!

I got a 1% raise after 2 years at my company in 2020. I followed up with HR since the raises were supposed to be merit based and I was a top performer in the company. She basically told me to be grateful I got a raise at all. That was the moment I knew I would quit on the spot when I got another offer. Fast forward two months and exactly one month after getting a $17k bonus I quit on the spot. It was so satisfying.

They were completely shocked and didn't have any of my client information either. This happened in March 2020 right when the pandemic started. They got completely fucked and it felt SO good. Additionally, they tried to deny me my PTO payout which was totally illegal and they had to pay me an additional 6K to leave. Wishing you luck in finding your net gig OP but bask in the feeling of knowing you fucked them and they deserve it.

THis isn't surprising but those roles often have guaranteed raises and promotions tied to them for quick advancement. I had a friend move to the DMV area to work for DoD as a defense contractor and made 45k out of college. She's been with them for 13 years and is a GS15 now and making BANK. You also get great benefits working for DoD so the salary doesn't tell the whole story here.

So, I reported someone for doing it over a number of threads and got a warning for it because of a perception of it being targeting a poster. I get why but I am still left confused.

I understand that this thread is not for complaining about bans and warnings (I sent in a ticket as we are supposed to do), but given there was an active question in here that was left unanswered by staff, I am asking again if there has been a change to the rules regarding this type of thread creation.

I'm not going to be using the reports on that anymore, but it would be nice to know.

They originally asked about the rules concerning posting full articles, got told to report threads that do so and get warned for targeting a user who constantly posts threads consisting of entire articles pasted and no other input
