I'm not religious now, but I grew up in a religious household.

I don't believe in the antichrist or any of that - but all my childhood, I said to myself, "There's no way this Antichrist could ever actually happen, because Christians would see right through it, just like I do now,"

And then Trump got elected on the backs of Christians, who looked at this embodiment of every single one of the seven deadly sins, who fits the Antichrist mold more than any human being I have ever seen - and I realized, no, I'm wrong, it absolutely could happen, because it just did.

And the part that nags at my brain, is that the Antichrist story has a part where he suffers what should be a fatal wound but then miraculously heals and returns to power and the second half of his reign is much, much worse than the first.

And I'm sitting here like...losing the presidency and then regaining power is a lot like suffering a near-fatal wound and then miraculously coming back into power

I do believe that the only way Trump becomes president again is by divine fuckery - which I don't believe exists - but I used to - and part of my brain is screaming FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU
