I gotta say, this whole "I just wanted to discuss the project" thing you've been talking about falls kinda flat if you start your post by calling people hysterical and immature for not automatically being A-OK with AI projects.

Because I don't understand how me saying "It sucks that so many people on the forum are now fully OK with AI projects now that people are porting games they like to PC" is me "showcasing my moral superiority" (lol) or "screaming and flailing my arms". You get to be as rude as you want, but I can't say that the people who come to these threads to say "AI is inevitable, anyone against this is just an ostrich" are Pro-AI. Really? I'm yet to insult anyone, but it's seemingly fine for me to get insulted.

I'm yet to receive a single reply about why is AI use so necessary in these kinds of projects, when translations, recomps, ports, you name it, have been made for decades with no AI. And now people are acting like without it there wouldn't be any of these? Come on, man.

It's like that post from a couple pages ago, comparing it to people on the nuclear industry saying "a nuclear bomb is inevitable" weren't pro-bomb. And of course it isn't the same situation. They weren't going to people and telling them "Oh, you don't like nukes? Everyone is making them. Are you just gonna stick your head on the sand and not use nukes? So immature". They were warning people of what could happen if nuclear technology kept being misused. That's not what's happening here, or on any of the AI projects on the forum.

So, yes. I fully think the forum is becoming more and more pro-AI. All you have to do is compare a thread about any project with AI from a couple of months ago to any of the current "recomps" threads and you'll see a myriad of difference in how people speak about these projects. If that's what people want then whatever, but it doesn't mean I have to be fine with it.

They managed to launch a year earlier than Sony, had Peter Moore making all those deals and he used the money hats very effectively to cut off PlayStation at the knees. Not to mention the man is a marketing genius working with retailers to put Xbox front and center.

For those who don't know, Battleboarding is the part of fandom focused on the argument of "Who would win?" Between fight between characters, whether from the same franchise like Batman Vs Superman or different ones like Goku Vs One-Punch Man. There entire web shows like Death Battle and entire sites and forums dedicated trying to create "objective" measurements and determinations on these debates, some decades old.

But here is my question... Why doesn't Dateboarding exist, debates and trying to determine how dates would go between fictional characters? Why isn't there a popular web series called Date Battle where they argue and then make animation of what would happen if say Godzilla and Ultraman went on a date or Mario and Master Chief or Palutena and Bayonetta? Why isn't there decades long debates between Goku and Superman about who the better kisser is and who'd win in a make-out session; or obvious rulings that trying to pair a gay man or lesbian with a woman and a man would fail and be a zero rating (which it should)?
