Is still way better game than Breath of the Wild… and that game was good as hell.

While I think people have a fair criticism about the reused world map, the game is legit better than Breath of the Wild.

TOTK is fantastic it will just age faster than BOTW I think. Also the further you get into the game, the places where they had to cut some corners because of hardware limitations stand out.

The Lurelin Village pirate take-over for example. There's not that many enemies and it already doesn't run great. The pirate ship is essentially just an empty platform. And they repeat the exact same thing for Eventide Island.

Also like many of these open world games it spreads the main story a bit too thin.
Although I thought this when BOTW released and most developers still made static linear checkpoint maps on far superior hardware

B-Dubs are you able to elaborate on why the thread was made private? As Richter pointed out, this thread is a good resource for news about the ongoing war and conflict.

It is, but it is also a thread that draws in tons and tons of troll accounts that cause trouble in this thread and across the site and has a bunch of people we banned ages ago causing trouble and affecting what goes on here. If a simple adjustment fixes all those issues at once and doesn't affect our members in the slightest, why would we not make that change? Our primary goal in moderating this thread is for it to be informative and inclusive. It being public makes those objectives harder, and, frankly, I'm not sure you guys understand what a mental strain moderating a thread on a topic like this is. So if this makes everything better and easier to handle, it only makes sense to do.

Look, I'll just say it. Dunkey promotes Super Mario Bros. 2 every single year as game of the year. Maybe I can't debate that.
