As I've seen some developers on X point out, Palworld isn't "lazy" or a rip-off at all.

They combined Genshin Impact, Fortnite, Pokemon, BOTW, Ark and a bunch of other popular games into a single experience that works quite well.

Did they look at Pokemon designs? Sure. But so did Nintendo when they made BOTW and put Ghibli movies on repeat.

Many succesful games have been created like this. Take a bunch of popular ideas and combine them into a new experience. It happened when open world gameplay was combined with racing and we got NSFU2, when Retro Studios merged Turok, Quake and Metroid and we got Metroid Prime, when Remedy combined Alan Wake + True Detective + Inception + Max Payne + Resident Evil 2 and we got Alan Wake II and the list goes on and on. 

Even Pokemon itself was a combination of ideas from Earthbound, Dragon Quest II, Final Fantasy Legend and a TV show called Ultraseven.

Because I do kind of feel like some of the dumb shit people have spouted in order to deny the obvious reality that Palworld goes substantially further in lifting Pokemon designs on a consistent basis than any major monster collection franchise does does inevitably colour my perception of the person spouting that bullshit.

I'm still on team recast T'challa. It has been done many times before in other franchises, why not this one? Also count me as the one of the people that didn't like killing him off in universe in the way they did either. Even if I still overall enjoyed Wakanda Forever as a film, it still didn't feel right.

Ryan Coogler and all of the actors have talked at length about why they didn't want to. Maybe listen to the Black people making the movie.
