Oh my god. FFS, you don't HAVE to comment like you know everything, Leo. I mean at least leave the possibility that you are uneducated about the matter.

The worst is that it sounds that the reporter DID mentioned the accident and was just another misinformed rando at Twitter saying shit he didn’t know about…
That’s why there is people in the forum thinking that Greta Thunberg helped in arresting Andrew Tate.

They really should understand that since it's probably the same way they communicate to let their mothers know to deliver more tendies to their basement.

This is only tangentially related, but amidst the abortion debate in the US since overturning Roe v. Wade, I was fascinated to learn that Abortion in many praised, progressive European countries is typically much more strict and much more similar to American Republican states. In Norway, Abortion is not legal beyond 18 weeks unless it’s a life threatening pregnancy for the woman, determined by a group of doctors. Finland’s “new and improved” Abortion laws generally ban abortion after 12 weeks unless a doctor signs off on the welfare for the mother. In countries like the Netherlands and Germany, there are these arbitrary waiting periods between when a woman requests an abortion and when it’s granted, to make sure she’s not making a rash, emotional decision, and in Germany a woman has to go to counseling before getting an abortion, where they try to talk her out of it.
The laws in Germany, which bans abortion after 12 weeks, only grants them for specific reasons, requires counseling, tries to convince the woman to not get an abortion, and whatever else, are very similar to the restrictions that Republicans like Lindsey Graham are trying to get through congress.

Quote:Honestly this is pretty scary. Knowing the ocean might be your grave. Its scary as fuck.
There is a hole in Nevada called the Devils hole. Divers can go in there and dive deep into this underground cave. A few decades ago some divers did just that. Three went in. Only 2 of them came to the surface. When they realized their friend didn't come up as well, they dived back down to find to find him. The one guy was trying to follow his friend while diving, but he lost him and went back to the surface. A few hours later, they went to the cops. Divers were sent into the cave and couldn't find the 2 divers. They check air pockets in the cave. They went down a second time and went as deep as you could go. They found a hole at the bottom of the cave, and the diver dropped a weight string into it. Not sure how long the string was. Maybe 90 feet? Anyway, it never hit the bottom. They went back up and concluded that both of the divers got confused and they got pulled into this hole. A few years ago there was this earthquake in Mexico I believe, and the water in the hole went higher. There is a theory there is an underground ocean between Mexico and Nevada that is at least 2000 miles wide.
That's the abyss right there. Imagine someone getting confused while diving and his grave is an ocean underneath the USA. Water is scary and should not be taken lightly.

Even the responses to this are like “they must be losing it”. It’s not that there’s no transponder and that as sound travels well underwater, it’s actually a fairly reasonable idea to give the search teams a hope of finding you.

If you don't want to die in a cave's unknown depths, just don't go in it or the cave.
