Maybe instead of there being specific skills that are PERMANENTLY unlocked on a character when a specific job rank is reached, you can choose a set number of any skills to equip from any jobs you've leveled up. So you have more options to carry over, but there's a cap on the number of carryover skills each character can equip at once.

But again on a systematic level, it's just not happen at the rate that it does to women/girls. Even so, without fail and very disappointingly whenever there's news of female predators on young boys, the comments are filled with men jeering, cheering or expressing their jealousy. Male victims will only ever be taken seriously once men do so themselves and they barely take female victims seriously (it is step up compared to male victims for sure but barely)
