in this case i take their complaints at face value. they really don't want to see that the opinions they disagree with or think are bigoted or whatever are actually popular in their "safe space". and of course the inverse, their opinions and posts are not popular out side of the small circle of complainers.

Our goal should be burning everything down, America is a failed state that needs to reorganize. You don't beat fascism without dealing with the contradictions within capitalism. Electing Joe Biden does nothing for that. Just kicking the can down the road. American fascism doesn't end with Trump, it only gets more reactionary.

A lot of people at risk in this country are also negatively impacted by the genocide Biden is rubber stamping. Can't blame anyone for simply not voting if it makes them sick to do so.
