Hoping to get some help, not just on Baldur's Gate 3, but the idea of missing a game's enjoyment even though everyone else loves it kinda sucks :(

I wouldn't even mind it if everything was laid out much more neatly. Like my main has a ton of equipment. Should I be giving equipment to my party members? It's just such a pain to hit L2, then scroll over with the left stick, figure out if I have any equipment. If I should be dropping unusable stuff, etc.

Just tell me. Am I under levelled (level 3) for where I am? Goblin camp.

And if so, what should I do? Leave and come back?

I blame the adults (often in their 20s) who do it that don’t have the sense to keep it to themselves and yap about it online as if they’re being “brave.”
There are some people who do this out of compulsion and self hate and I feel for them, but there are some who do it for attention and it’s repulsive. If part of your “look” includes the tally marks on your thighs, I would prefer if my kids didn’t know you existed.

I haven't played 2K24 yet but before you had to hit B to close the pop-ups. It's an argument in favor of the DARK PATTERN theory but I didn't see in the thread because only like two people seem to have played the series and the rest were just screaming about DARK PATTERNS.

Also, this moron is mashing A thinking it's skipping stuff but it's not. It's literally one screen it skips. The others you can't skip because they're legally required to display. From what he said in his OP and his video it looks like he's mashing A because he only plays the top option on the menu and it will instantly take him into it if there's no pop-ups.
